Why should we bow under pressure to Sheff Utd at the last minute ? Far as I heard the deal was done and dusted until Sheff U got a sniff another club wanted to buy Slater so they pulled the plug on us. When they found out it was bullshit they came scuttling back, 'erm, do you still want him' ? No tell them to do one. If he comes he comes on our terms.

SU could have done this deal early and there really was no need to wait until the end of the window. The deal was virtually done and the article also states that other clubs had come in for him.

Quote any papers and some immediatrly say fake news, never trust the MSM. Except for Sheffield papers it seems.
Just because you're not interested in other transfers, it doesn't mean nobody else is, some of us actually want to know which players we'll be up against for the rest of the season.
We'll probably only get that point of view, considering our owners currently refuse to talk to the local media in Hull.
When are we playing Man Utd, Barcelona, Chelsea, or any of those other PL and European clubs whose transfers were mentioned? Anyone on here has the Internet and that information is available to them if they are interested.

It would be quite easy for Ehab to start repairing the mistrust a lot of tiger nation have in him, simply by creating a more open and inclusive culture. Most people work on the premise that the only reason, owners/ rulers would become secretive would be that they have something to hide. It would take a while, but he does have the control of this 'North Korean' esq culture. Start talking to the press, show meaningful and proper engagement with the fans and show genuine remorse for previous mistakes where he knows he ****ed up.
He's still around and in good spirits, his influence is more behind closed doors as opposed to actually front of house and face to face / day to day running. Healthier then he was which no matter people's opinions of him/the family, is a good thing

Don't know about you but I get bombarded with news from within the club via social media. Even Hull Live (HDM) email me at least once a day with all the latest news.
Should have added...one of the benefits of the membership scheme, besides cheap admission.

Blind faith had never been one of my qualities ! People earn trust .. the shyte our leader and chief has spouted over the years makes it very hard to believe anything he says .. we all have our own opinions !
