Thought we were the better side, created the better chances and should have won the game. Two slight defensive mistakes and the ball dropped to your main man, and he finished both with aplomb. Given our injuries and recent form that was a good performance from us, I thought James was different class.
Yeh was fantastic. What are your thoughts on Ben Godfrey? Personally I think he's a beast and the best transfer we have made in a long time.

Pistons looks an absolute bargain tbh mate. His pace and power is a bit special, just needs to work on his positional play at times for me, but if he keeps working at his game, he could be a top CB at this level for a decade.

His aggression is fantastic. I love how he gave Ndombele a hug, he yelped, threw himself to the ground like he had just been garotted

Once fans are allowed back WHL will have a poisonous atmosphere if JM is still in charge....then there'll be swathes of empty seats.
£50 a ticket to watch a bore fest v Newcastle ffs?
They've got away with murder with no fans

Mourinho looked resigned and almost like he is expecting the sack in his interview. I don`t know whether it is the players that are just not good enough or the manager, or the players have downed tools. It is probably a combination of all 3 looking at some of the dross in our squad, whatever it is, they are not leaving everything out on the pitch and look like they don`t give a shiete. I hope Levy is really proud of himself, because this mess is all his creation.

Did no-one question that strange £50m payment Abramovich made to Mourinho in November 2019?

If this is true., Chelsea stand to make much more playing the Champions League... So it makes good business sense all round, if you ask me.
However, the downside is Spurs being treated like mugs. Nod...nod...wink... if you know what I mean.

Like I originally said, short term appointment of Redknapp would have given us something to cheer.

Levy chose to continue a car crash ... it has been obvious for months .

If they had no plan B then he is negligent.

I ain't a knee jerk supporter but this is a farce.

I can cope with not winning but the football we have been subjected to since mid December has been unacceptable.

27 points from 22 games is relegation form but it is the turgid football that is completely unacceptable
The problem with pinning hopes on a romantic appointment like Redknapp or Jol is that, if they don't work out, the fanbase toxicity would get worse - and it has to be asked if either would even work, as not only have both been out of work for four years but Redkapp's stints at QPR and Birmingham were unimpressive while Jol's time at Fulham was a bust and his last job was in the Egyptian league

Similar an be said about shuffling somebody up the bench: Ledders is the romantic choice but there's no evidence he won't be another Sherwood or Ferdinand, while Sacramento is the cerebral choice yet at this point it's doubtful he could motivate the squad give he's been sat next to the energy vampire for eighteen months meaning there's an obvious hurdle he needs to overcome when he should be rallying the players (and is that theory about him learning on the job by shadowing the ubermensch being mentioned anymore?)

And the fact still remains that sacking without a replacement sorted out could do even more damage if we dream of Nagelsmann or Allegri or whoever and end up having to make do with Eddie Howe or Peter Bosz

Do I want him gone? Yeah, clearly, but I also want the security of a manager with a long-term plan and an understanding that football isn't an optional extra in games being ready to step in come the end of the season

The problem is that the us vs them mentality he likes to cultivate currently has the players as "them" while he and only he is "us"

Two reasons

1.) The fanbase would be moaning from the outset, so nothing would be improved as we'd have replaced an unpopular manager with an unwanted one
2.) Do either of those hypothetical names inspire confidence?

1) Most people I know would welcome pretty much anyone in place of Mourinho
2) See answer 1).

Boyhood Toffee Carragher making some strange noises for the equaliser.

Yeah, it's all three.

Players - defence is dreadful, midfield is bang average but the forwards are very, very good.
Attitude - has been off for years barring a small handful, we saw many down tools under Poch and more have now done so under Jose.
Jose - when looking at the players, the logical thing would be to play to the strengths of the squad and that's the attack, so what does he do? Load up on **** defenders and midfielders and enforce a style that sees us often trying to defend early 1-0 leads.
