Some pretty backhanded praise mind. Even without as strong a defence we’d say, conservatively have lost half the draws? So be 5-6 points worse off.

He is indefensible.

It wasn't praise, Just a comment on how it could have been worse. It's because of those draws that we have lost half as many games as anyone else.

Anyway, it was a throwaway comment in reply to your original post. Wasn't meant to start a debate :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Ha, I know mate. I just find that if anything vaguely resembles a defence of that fossil I get my back up.

Actually seen people worried about Blackpool man <laugh>

A lot of arrogant posts like this around at the moment, yes it feels like a new era but we shouldn’t count our chickens IMO. This squad of players whilst capable of playing as well as they did against Portsmouth has also ploughed the depths by losing to the likes of Wigan and Plymouth at home.

Yep we need to stay grounded, the mantra of one game at a time, and every game as if your life depends on it. Whilst at the same time playing with a smile (or grimace) and freedom to perform.

Oxford are favourites to beat Lincoln tomorrow night. Slightly surprised at that, Lincoln have an excellent record away from home.

There really isn't tbh, most people are being quite reasonable. It's reasonable to think a team, in our form, can beat one that two points off bottom and on a three match losing streak.

This Wolfy character just says anything to be controversial. He thinks this will be our hardest game of the season will be against a team two points off bottom ...

... but we can laugh at Blackpool who are absolutely flying and can't accept a draw against Lincoln.

My take on it FWIW.
Wins for us, Posh and Lincoln (decent on the road, much more so than at home).
Fancy Gills to get a point at Hull.
In truth as long as we keep winning the others will just as likely help us out over the rest of the season.
HTL
I would take that, but really fancy Oxford to get at least a point, which would be even better.

Let me know when it's okay to party marra

Lincoln look very good tonight. I think they are still a massive threat and could easily sneak one of the automatic places.
