I dunno mate, I’m not convinced it was easy to have us 18 points off 2nd.

    He was spectacularly ****.

His arrogance is embarrassing and he sounds like the mags do to be honest!! “I’ll never accept a draw against Lincoln and we shouldn’t” or words to effect, followed up with the ****e of his you quoted. Be happy if he attends 0 Sunderland games and gives this forum a wide berth tbh. We don’t need his ilk

I don't think we need to worry about him attending Sunderland matches tbh.

I can imagine he'll copy the link to his posts, paste it on a Mag forum and say 'hey lads, look how arrogant and deluded these Mackems are, then say the same about us'.

It may be time for him to stop posting, or to change his narrative, but it certainly isn't time that he was stopped :emoticon-0145-shake

Yes, I have to say that was a bit of an exaggeration ...

... just a shame his only intention is to derail threads.

Never mind, he'll no doubt vanish like they all do.

Back in Feb I did a forecast of the top six and had us 9/10 points off the top two.
After last night I have us finishing second, a point behind Hull.
I’m sick of being disappointed, but I really think this year we are going back up.
LJ has the players and the ability to guide us to the top.
Starting with Saturday when we give Mr Barton a bloody nose.

Whats peoples top 2 predictions now then ? I have got it wrong so many times now, at some point this season I have fancied Hull, Portsmouth, Peterborough, Lincoln, Doncaster & even Oxford to get the top 2 places. I never fancied us until around 6-7 weeks ago for anything more than play offs. The turnaround has been remarkable in team form, individual form and tactics, all credit to LJ & KLD for the transformation. Anyway cock on block time.

    Hull .. Runners Up

I still think it will be is and Peterborough, they’ll come out of the wobble.

    Playoffs could be anyone frankly.

Lincoln to be fair to them, non league couple years back.

Deserve a bit of credit for being closer to Championship.

I think 25 points wins us the league.

I think we can get to that comfortably.

We have open talks with Wolves to sign Dion permanently. That is a fantastic show of early ambition.

£2million is the money touted I’d imagine they put a hefty sell on in at that level. He could easily become a quality PL player, that’s £30million nowadays.

Admittedly it’s on the Mail so the chances of it being true are fairly sparse.

    Spot on mate.

In the same way that fans of other clubs could have discounted us as serious promotion contenders 2 months ago, only to be proven wrong, we shouldn't discount anyone as being able to do the same.

We are proof that confidence on the back of a good run can take you to the top.

Thankfully, I'm sure LJ will have our players feet firmly on the ground, and will not accept slackening off or dismissing teams in the way some fans are. Confidence is one thing, complacency is another.

    spot on sir!!
said it many times myself, we ARE a 3rd division team right now and that is a fact.

we have to beat other 3rd division teams to get out of it and we are not the only team intent on doing so, they all want out and we have no divine right to be one of those to 'escape' yet some do indeed talk like we are still a massive club and should brush all competition aside...we have to EARN that right to be in with the big boys and call ourselves a 'big club' again.

By the time we play Blackpool at home they will probably be firmly rooted in the play off spot and might be resting / rotating key players for that
