Watched “ The Dig “ last night, I absolutely loved it, to say it’s boring is to not understand this type of movie. It’s based on a true story so you cannot really add 10 deaths, 3 car chases and aliens landing in the first 10 ****ing minutes. The art is in the actors and not everything is given to you on a ****ing plate. I won’t spoil it for anyone but I would like to say I ****ing hate poncey up their own arse posh people who get where they are off the backs of so called Ordinary people. The joke is on them because the so called amateur “ digger” knew far more then those university intellectuals. Ralf feinnes is superb. This was my kind of movie...Rant over !!!!
Just watched this on your recommendation, very 'enjoyable' and poignant - will do a bit of Googling later to find the actual details

Started to watch a limited series on Netflix called
“ Unbelievable “ it’s about a serial rapist, based on a true story. I’ve just finished episode 5 of 10. In my honest opinion it’s ****ing brilliant. Has one of my favourite actresses in it Toni Collette, highly recommend if you like this sort of program..
From 9pm tonight I’m going to watch the other
5 episodes, Mrs mop is not going to be pleased
Might be sleeping downstairs tonight

Watched it this week and it was first class. Kaitlyn Dever was really superb in her role.

Watched 'News of the World' last night. Can't really go wrong with Tom Hanks but the girl, Helena Zengel, is excellent. Worth a watch.

Yeah I liked that .
I'm watching Rebecka Martinsons Arctic Murders on More4 . They are good .
Waiting for something to come onto BBC4 Saturday nights .
Inspector Montalbano doesnt cut it .
The change in Rebecka through us a little. But we have watched series right through and enjoyed it.
Montabalo is still a favourite with us.
Last night we watched E1S1 of McDonald and Dodds. Bit of light drama.
We watched a Finnish thing last week. All the Sins or something like that.
I have to say that part of the enjoyment is in seeing a different world and some places really surprise me.
Sicily just looks a great place, full of history and fantastic scenery.
I have been inside the Artic Circle in winter, and I really would like to go back.
One thing is for sure, I do not ever want to be investigated by the French Police!

Zero zero zero sky tv was excellent and the Serpent bbc tv was probably my favourite series so far this year, now I’m going to watch city win at Donny .my next one is going to be godless on recommendation from a post on here.

A new series of McDonald and Dodds starting soon. Will be watching as I enjoyed the first series.

A friend of mine went to Sicily the other year and ended up in the town used for filming. Montalbano's is now a holiday apartment for rent at a surprisingly reasonable price.

The Mire on Netflix is well worth a watch. A murder investigation set in communist Poland it paints a bleak picture of corruption and dodgy policing at every level. Recommended.

It is well worth a look. You can tell some Poles are enjoying making films which shows what a rotten system they lived under for decades. Very good story, full of twists and turns to the end.

Yes I will do .
Got Arctic Murders , Deliver Us on the go at the minute plus gonna do the finish one on Saturday night.
I started watching some of the Nordic Murders ones ( 3 I think ) but theyve been taken off by the looks of it .

Just watched the last of the 3 on the online *****phile investigations... everything that is wrong with the CJS laid bare in one programme. One bloke 2 and half years for grooming and arranging a meet (police online team) ... another who had an outstanding case for SA with two young girls (unsubstantiated) gets a community order for arranging to meet a young boy 14 (police online team) to "..........." ...... you can only assume the judge in charge was tossing himself off at the evidence in private.
