We don’t want too much positivity mind, a win tonight and we all gonna have to start budgeting for a Wembley trip we likely won’t be allowed to attend![]()
I'll just donate the £1000 it usually costs me to the Salvation Army ...
... sick of Wembley now tbh.
Me too mate.Under Ross and Parkinson it all seemed amateurish and hopeless ...
... this feels different so I'm officially excited and getting the cans lined up for tonight.
Read that before somewhereI stand corrected, said the man in the orthopaedic shoes.
Leeds looked a very good side tbf. Plus a couple of their first teamers played and we had a couple of trialists playing.

To be fair to Ross and Parkinson, how much of that was down to Coton and Hill? Ross hadn't been a manager that long when he came here, so didn't have the contacts built up and Parkinson had bumped around the lower leagues working on a shoestring for most of his career. I don't think either were in a strong enough position to push back and challenge for more from Coton and Hill. It was horrible that Coton had a severe heart attack and it might be cruel to say it, but if he couldn't do his job on health grounds, he should have been paid off a lot earlier.
I guess it reflects more on how Donald ran the club and what we're seeing now is the difference between someone with the money and vision to do things and Donald's small time approach.
Sorted my mortgage, thoroughly decent bloke. Up there with Blep and Laputian as recognisable posters back in the day.Yeah and he was a decent Mod

Rings a bell. He was loopy but seemed a very clever man, always looked forward to his posts. Bloody long time ago now. There's a couple of names, blasts from the past.
Was it lappy that arranged to meet up with someone at a telephone box?
Memory may be playing tricks but iirc it was a cracking thread

Calling this as an assistI still think Maguire has a role to play this season.
Especially given the number of games in a short period and the fact we can use 5 subs
