Wonder how they would have got on with English replacements for Hansen, Souness and Dalglish?

Links to no other clubs doing what we are doing with KLP? Where?

As mass is an indication of bulk it could refer to you.

Weight jokes don’t bother me so crack on. I’m not touchy like you & your generation.

They’re not funny & make you look thicker & more butter than you are, which is really bitter, but do crack on. The only laughing going on is at you.

It doesn’t. We have that confirmed now.

Laurant koscielny was quite a recent one to be frozen out at arsenal due to a contract disagreement ( that's the only one I can think of from the top of my head ) so it does happen, but not a regular way of going about things

Different age, different circumstances. Nothing to do with the club avoiding meeting contractual obligations by not playing him.

Not debating that and I've no idea what the dispute was about if I'm honest, I just remembered it happening. It's definitely not a regular occurrence or a decent way to deal with things

So, how many English players when Man Utd won in 1968? Villa? The other Liverpool wins?

Okay then.

You didn't mention them, but here are both of Forest's teams too:

tbh and I admit I know nothing on any facts regarding wages etc or whos holding out and not budging on what , but KLP is reminding me of Josh Tymon right now ... I know the scenarios are different , but I think it will end the same and his development will follow the same path

By 'same path' do you mean playing in a higher league, earning more money or both? Just asking.

Found out something I wasn't aware of there. George Best was English.

Agreed. I believe the circumstances surrounding KLP being frozen out & the reasons behind it are probably unique.

You can believe it or not Ben, but someone my lad played junior football with and who had a decent career as a pro, was frozen out for similar, but not identical reasons. It happens quite a lot.

Koscielny refused to play for Arsenal to force a move, it’s not really the same as KLP - in fact it’s pretty much the opposite.

There's always rumours circulating re players not being played due to contractual stipulations having to be met if another games played etc and ive not doubt whatsoever that it does happen. But how often those rumours are true, who knows!

It could be argued back and forth all night, but the sad fact is, a local lad that's been at our club since 8, isn't playing due to no fault of his own ( it would seem ) and his career is potentially grinding to a halt due to a representative representing him in an extremely shortsighted and selfish way and an owner who is cutting his nose of to spite his face to try and prove to anyone he's the man! It's shocking and embarrassing from both sides!

From what I've been passed on today, it seems a couple of the older heads in the squad have and are continuing to try and get KLP away from his representative and talk to the club via them to sort it out. The final straw in there eyes was the agent bringing offers to the club when KLP ( so against his wishes) has made it clear he doesn't want to leave.
