I put a post on Facebook saying “the only difference between Benitez and Bruce is the fact that Bentiz’s teams used to score their one chance a game”

it was like a firework display on steroids on cocaine on speed!! Funny as ****

doesn’t make it any less true though!

Their's no denying they're a strange bunch of supporters and it's more than just the 'tiny minority of idiots' that's often claimed. They insist Ashley booted Benitez out and won't accept he'd lined up a new job, and accompanying work visa, while still pretending, to them, that he wanted to stay.

They're now pretending the PL rejected the Saudis takeover whereas they actually pulled out ...

... to make it worse they're pretending they're more disappointed about the missed investment for the NE than being about to challenge for the title.

The problem is there's no way back for them ...

... they've created this idea that they care more, hurt more and that it's more than just a club.

Yeah, they ignore that Benitez was sniffing around after the Everton job when he was first with them and again was sniffing around for the Spain job in 2018. If a decent sized European club, say Zenit or Benfica, had offered him a chance he'd have been off like a shot and they'd still have blamed Ashley for it.

The Mags are so insular and delusional it's amazing, though sometimes I think deep down they realise they aren't what the believe they are, so go over the top to try and hide their insecurities.

Ashley has really played them with this takeover 'legal action' ...

... they daren't say a word against him now.

All their eternal angst is being directed at Bruce.
