It’s in 3 parts. We get £375k regardless. We also get a share of £15m based on gate receipts. These payments come with no penalties. There is then the option to apply for a grant this is the bit that comes with a transfer embargo

Ahh right. Thats not as bad then. If we take that grant its safe to say no takeover is happening

I really don't think Donald would want to take a relatively small payment and continue losing a million a month also without being able to sign anyone in January.

Surely even he is not that greedy / stupid

Probably There is the option to lift the embargo by paying the grant back but can’t see a deal going through with that hanging over it. But you never know depend on how the deal is structured Taking it would help SDs current cash flow in that he wouldn’t have to fork out his own money if it’s dragging on. They may agree to this and factor it into the takeover deal. Pretty unlikely though

I understand the comedy side of it but as my dad isn't about I tend to get a bit tetchy about any belittling of what he was, but the main thing is FTM. Merry Christmas

I’ve thought long and hard about posting this because I didn’t want to be seen as having a bite.

As someone else said, it’s military humour. The fact that I’ve served in the armed forces gives me and others that have served that sense of humour. And honestly, unless you’ve served in the armed forces you really wouldn’t understand it. Call it a coping mechanism.

I can’t see how in any way I have belittled your dad or of what he was or what he did. I said it earlier that he was clearly a very brave man along with all the others.

Not that I knew him but I’ll bet a years wages he would’ve taken my comments in the humour that it obviously is.

But I agree with you on your last comment. FTM and Merry Christmas.

It's interesting to be fair. There was hope that it would be in a position to be far more comfortably concrete in the timescales I said previously. With the efl having the documents for Krill and the owners test done. Now it seems that a bit of a change has been presented so yeah, could rumble. If it means Krill takes even more then great.

I wouldn't pay much attention to the appointments comment from JR. Simply has to state that.

I am still not concerned at all TBH. Although, it would be nice to have it all wrapped up for Christmas!
I completely agree with you. Apart from a bit of smoke and mirrors from Rodwell regarding the recent appointments, his comments confirm most of what you @Smug in Boots @Magnus and @Wheatsheaf (apologies if I have missed anyone) have been saying. Reading between the lines, Rodwell is saying that the deal is nigh on done and we just need to be patient.
