Very true.
I don't if you have seen the film Longest Day, the guy who played Major Howard (Richard Todd) he was actually one of the paras who jumped with the other first 200 to land along with my dad to take the bridge .
My uncle was with the Ox and Bucks the 181 who went in on gliders.
I like the story of Peter Butterworrh (of Carry On film fame) who was turned down for the role of a jumper in the Wooden Horse for not looking athletic enough even though he was one of the jumpers in real life!

People can believe me or not but if it come from the new guy Parkinson could take the club to court, like Colman did, for once the club is saying the right things

can you provide me a link for what happened when coleman took sunderland to court

The worry is we have been this far down the line before and its collapsed. The big concern is like before his greed is going to get in the way of this being signed off.

Its gonna rumble on till 2021 this aint it

My dad jumped, he said he preferred that to gliders , you never knew where they would land. Dad was what was called a Pathfinder.

Just go an have a listen to Donald’s previous podcasts with roker report, why do you think he said He would talk to colman about the job before Ross got the job, it’s offering someone to re interview for a job the going to be payed less for when redundancy and restructuring of a company is happening

so i am meant to take Donald's word on it.

Being sacked is different to being made redundant.

LOL

That was because the club made a lot of people redundant while cost cutting. Not the case here, Parky was fired for undeperforming and then hired another manager most probably on more money.

It's interesting to be fair. There was hope that it would be in a position to be far more comfortably concrete in the timescales I said previously. With the efl having the documents for Krill and the owners test done. Now it seems that a bit of a change has been presented so yeah, could rumble. If it means Krill takes even more then great.

I wouldn't pay much attention to the appointments comment from JR. Simply has to state that.

I am still not concerned at all TBH. Although, it would be nice to have it all wrapped up for Christmas!

****ing hell! We’ve gone from SD holding it up, to JS and KLD holding it up, to the EFL holding it up, now to FPP holding it up and back to KLD coming in at 11th hour with additional, fundamental demands!
You couldn’t script the nonsense which has been put forward by the media. According to them, there’s been that many twists and skullduggery, you’d imagine Barnier is conducting negotiations under orders from Berlin and Paris!:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm
I’ve had 2 new cars bought a new house had 3 holidays there’s been a vaccine invented for a pandemic that didn’t exist and the takeover is still not complete and Burnley have managed it before the hotpot has come out the oven <laugh>

That's the worry with Donald and co, moving of the goalposts at the last minute. The bloke is a straight up degenerate gambler.
