My point is that as he doesnt sit on the Madrox board of directors - in essence the sale of that company is nothing to do with him, im not that green to assume that as he has got to be involved in some way in helping the buyers (data room access etc) but I thought it was strange that the update of the sale of the club came from him and not a club statement as he is just an employee

Completely agree - think it was more to do with the fact the club don't want to make official statements but were happy to "formally leak" stuff to fans through a podcast.
