Thanks mate, i took abit if a funny turn tonight and needed to come to bed early. I felt really faint and i had a constant ringing in my ears (still do), and everything around me starting looking really bright. Other than that, ive had a constant headache and sore throat, absolute zero taste or smell and im suffering with lethargicness. Lets see what tomorow brings.
sorry to hear about how it is with you mate, i really hope you pull through this experience quickly, so you can get back to your lads and the love they need, all the best Roger
Similar to Nig. My Mrs is a nurse, tested positive. I was told to leave graft and not return for 14 days (gutted as you can imagine). Although she had no symptons at the time she was poorly, mainly fatigued for about a month. I was OK until the following day. Laid on the front room floor and more or less slept for 4 days. My son changed the bottle of water next to me and held a compact mirror to my mouth each day to check I was still breathing haha. Worst part about it for me is that for a few weeks my taste smell was enhanced and it was as if I was swallowing ashtrays and could smell cigarette smoke non stop. Weird.
So, I’ve tested positive now. I’ve got a relatively mild cough but I am having proper issues with hearing and temperature, to be fair I’ve had a lot worse. See that it effects folk in different ways, if I had to compare it to something would be the day after you’ve gone way over the top on drink/gear. It has been biggest issue when trying to sleep last couple nights. Was out all day Saturday in a big group so I’m just hoping hasn’t been passed on, making no real difference as I’m already working from home anyway. I’ve had worse colds.
Im sorry to hear you are also suffering mate, hopefully youll get no worse than what you are now. My mate had it last week, he only came out of isolation today and other than losing his taste hes felt totally normal. Its such an unpredictable virus, it effects people so differently. Day 5 is when it peaks apparently.
Cheers all, Like I say not massively effecting me like it has others and I’m sure I’ll be sound, the temperature thing is the only bit that’s causing a bit of grief.
Mad mate I’m more or less normal. Feeling awful in the mornings then it’s clearing as day goes along. Cough is a bit annoying but nowt I can’t live with. Still having mad bother trying to get to sleep though, just burning up.
Its my first day out of isolation today and im back with the 2 most important people in my life. My world in one pic... .
