I think you may have misinterpreted my post - I wasn't saying they won't buy. They clearly want to buy and will buy. I was just saying I don't understand the logic as to why they'd do it right now, when its nailed on they can do it at pretty much any point.
Yep - and these guys are billionaires because they make the right investments at the right time. I'm just questioning the timing. I'm not a billionaire though. So hopefully they've done their homework and HAVE decided now is the right time and we can all stop this agony

That's the bit I'm questioning. I just don't think that's true. The club as an asset right now is losing cash and getting no income. The club will be the same club in 6 months but (potentially) have a revenue stream.

This, what happens if around the end of the year a reliable vaccine(s) is released for public use, and the lockdown quickly become a thing of the past, the price of the club could become much more expensive, now could well be the time to buy.
Football changes fairly quickly dependent on results on the pitch , if we have a decent start to the season it may have an impact on the valuation of the club if we are toward the top of the league with a possibility of promotion.
