By refusing to let people into the ground for a trial, more people will be crammed together in local bars and houses.

there has been a rumour floating around that the club didn't apply to the council in time for the safety certificate to be granted, also another rumour is that someone as contacted the council regarding the family/social distancing bubbles

The club didn't get the invite from the EFL until late Monday/Tues.
Second one...now why would someone want to put the mockers on it ?

Which staff had bricks thrown at them? Did these 'Hooligans' have to cross over 'Windass Way to get within shooting range?

    That's hilarious that one.

Have you seen how many people sit in those very small spaces? What was the point when we had big crowds at that time? We were on a right ****ing roll, we were becoming a successful football club and the 'City' had a feel good factor.

"Ask James Mooney at Leeds" <laugh> Give us a laugh why don't you?

By the way mate, my brother in law and I never once took advantage of the carer concession when taking my Dad to the matches, we never paid less than full price and from my experience in those enclosures I don't believe anyone else did. It was well marshalled by the stewards. (Well nearly always).

We had a good laugh with people in that short period.

Oh **** it, just be good to each other, it goes a long way x

I couldn't care less if you believe me or not. I said ask Mooney because he was the fella dealing with it at the time. He is now working for Leeds, drop him an email.
You asked me a load of questions and I answered every one.
What more do you want me to do ?

As you ask, can you give us a lift to pub in about half an hour?

The SMC hasn't paid anything back to HCC during their ownership. They were effectively gifted a business opportunity to make money, the stadium and the arena. Somehow the have turned that into a debt of more than 10 million (?) which I am sure one day they will offload onto someone else. Business rates? are those the right numbers and over how many years? anyway that's the price of running a business.

Taking down the HCC signage from the stadium then putting it all back up again all at their own expense, they must have money to burn.

How do you make money out of the arena and the stadium?
They subsidised the arena as the prices were so low.

Windass way is now closed. I have a challenge for all Allam fans.

Go take a walk through West Park.

It's a lovely evening, so why not :emoticon-0138-think

Mate why are you doing this
As far as I’m aware outside of office hours there is a fence all the way round the kcom that has gates that are locked
Yes someone could jump the fence
Same as they could at BP Siemens wherever really. But it is fenced off

Plenty of venues manage to make money even after they have paid to build the place, so having a venue given for nowt should make it a bit easier.

Both Hull City and Hull FC should have been charged the going rate for the stadium, and then they could have utilised the facilities more (events and concerts) same goes for the arena.

They lost money on loads of stadium gigs that’s why they stopped doing them

They used to get revenue from renting out the Arena, they no longer do, so it's now costing them more than it did before.

I doubt it. Would they have had staff etc in there to set up equipment.
It’s the same reason HCC offloaded that gym in boothferry to goals. And they took money too

You can't cut your revenue to zero and still be better off, they'll have just looked at it and decided that taking on all the costs of the Airco, was cheaper than any of the other options to get the Academy status they wanted.

FFS your are a bit dim. You say the SMC have not paid anything back to HCC during their ownership then dismiss the business rates as the cost of running a business ?? Who maintains the stadium then ? Steve Brady in his spare time ?
If the Allams were gifted a business opportunity to make money for nothing then surely so was Russell Bartlett before them and he managed to run up a huge debt too. Explain that one away ?
The debts are the costs of running the club.
As for taking down the signage, FFS, if that's all you can come up with, which must have cost all of a couple of hundred quid, then you really are clutching at straws to a prove a point which i still dont know what it is, except rubbish the club at every opportunity perhaps ?

They could have taken the other option of building their own stadium in Melton, after all they had the land and the plans.

Completely useless piece of information, but Sunderland have to pay a fortune in rates, they have a rateable value of £3.53m, miles higher than any other club outside the Premier League and higher than many of the clubs in the Premier League (Villa Park £2.87m / Goodison Park £2.44m - Spurs is the highest £7.19m).

Its not useless information at all, it's the reality of running a football club, and some think the KC comes rate free.
