I have never owned one of those motors. I did once own a 1999 CLK 350, as a third motor. When I consolidated my motors down to one, I sold it to a mate. Bloody good motors, those.
I had a BMW 850i that had two power-bands. It was a beast. It could accelerate from 120 mph to its limit of around 210 mph as though it was still in first gear.
Saw one of the new 8 series at the dealership the other week, just shy of £100,000 for that model, it was one of the performance models, 840 or 850i, full kit, slick car
They also had in a beautiful gloss black M2 with blacked out trim, kit and wheels, that was about £60,000 and I would've taken it over the 8
Blah blah blah... Those cars had a 5 litre V12 engine and around 340 bhp. Trust me, it was swift. Some scroats tried to break into it when I had it parked overnight, visiting my mum. They failed, but ****ed up the car door and caused £2,500 damage. The cheapest tyres for it were £500 each. That’s more than your car was worth, I bet, Tel. Admit it, one tyre on my car was worth more than your entire jalopy, yeah?
****ing Hell. There simply isn’t a single topic that Kips can help himself from jumping in and chatting ****e about.
@Hoddle is a god ...I’m all for a bit “casual ****ing” from time to time, but since your latest return, you seem to be constantly angry?
A quick google search reveals that the BMW 850i is a 4.4 litre V8 with a top speed of 155mph You’d think Kips would check these simple facts before making **** up.
Not really sure why it seems to be heading for a “pissing contest” with HIAG. I don’t own these large engine cars and my favourite mode of transport up until recently (when it finally went to the scrapyard) was a ford connect van, which cost me the grand sum of £500.
Meh. If I wasn’t still in the office I’d be sat in my underpants and casually scratching my bollocks. That’s how not-angry I am.
How Fast Is The BMW M850i? Clicking that crystal start button prods the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8 to life with a snort. A full-throttle launch rewards a 0-60 mph scamper in 3.6 seconds, or so says BMW; forward thrust is so meaty, the limited 155-mph top speed feels obtainable on an entrance ramp. https://www.automobilemag.com/news/2020-bmw-m850i-xdrive-specs-features-performance/
