When he quit from MSD and Phelan and Platek it was said it was cos he wanted to spend more time with his family and kids. That was Dec 2019, if it's all true about the takeover I reckon he'll be pulling the strings in the background from the States.

It was me that posted what bob had passed on to me, I can absolutely confirm that he knows pretty much everything that's going on at the club currently, I've been on the SMB for over 10 years as well and it was only a few months ago I was publicly calling Bob out as being full of ****, anyway we have since spoken over the phone and I now know he is "itk" fair enough he talks in riddles like lol but absolutely no one should doubt where he gets his information from.
He basically asked me to pass the message on about it not being a full takeover, from what I know there's plenty of people would argue that point with him since the figurehead of the club is going to be leaving most fans will see it as a takeover, either way that's just definitions.
I'm hoping that by the end of this week we should know one way or another if it's going to happen.

It's not really definitions though. Stewart Donald currently owns Sunderland. If he leaves and someone replaces him, it's a takeover.
The only thing I can think of what Bob might mean is that he's seeing Madrox being the owner of Sunderland, and someone is going to takeover Madrox which will continue to 'own' Sunderland, which is semantics really. If Donald leaves, it's a takeover.
Just to update , I sent the gist of this message to a London lawyer 'friend' yesterday and he's replied with a thumbs up.
(Sadly that's all so I suppose he could either be confirming or wishing me well.)
He's nothing to do with SAFC but some people might remember he gave me a few nuggets when FPP were involved in Due Diligence.
