You know, a quick scout about the web and Fuhrman’s interest has been cover by Forbes and Bloomberg, absolute pillars of the world of high finance. Covered in the US, Bloomberg have an article there from a few months back with a bit of a history of the club and a brief description of the current owners. Why would such a huge financial reporter have cover if there weren’t some roots in it? There’s something in this. I just hope it’s something big.
I could be wrong, I know he was the one credited with being more into a takeover and the thought of ownership. I may be wrong in him being here, I’m just going from vague memory.

This is it mate. Bloomberg and Forbes exist to report on these things. It’s their bread and butter, they are respected worldwide and they have great access to these top end wealthy folk. If they’ve printed a stateside article about little old Sunderland, there’s fire behind the smoke.

There was a poor quality photo taken at the AOL last summer of CM and a gentleman who looked like him... that said he certainly didn’t appear with the remainder of FPP when they took in a home game.
The think that upsets you is it’s clear to all they wanted a takeover a year or so ago and this **** has held us back. I won’t celebrate till it’s announced as last year I’d bought it was done.

I had the whole takeover spelled out to me and, if I could've put a bet on, would've stuck thousands on it. I was that sure it was a done deal ... ... I really daren't hope this time tbh.
It was embarrassing. I have a Leicester supporting mate and I was telling him we could buy their first eleven for a laugh. Made myself look an absolute moron . Even my wife still smirks when I talk about it now. No excitement until something is announced.. that’s what should all be doing.
Mate for the sake of every fan I hope you are correct. I see you say you can name your source if/when it happens, however do you believe the source to be a good one with connections to the club? My question now is, who will be the official chairman?
I think we all know not to get ahead of ourselves but damn, it's good to feel psyched again for something positive to happen, to put it mildly if reports in this thread are accurate. Even if nothing comes of it I can feel the numbing clouds lifting.
