Rodwell meeting rasputin at roker hotel

Don't like the look of this. Either Storey is just mental and has come to Sunderland with the aim of being as visible as possible to try and ensure someone from the club speaks to him (hence Rodwell). The alternative is that he's being used and the club wants another party to see that there's someone who says he'll pay the full amount and who is now being seen by Rodwell (which would also suit Storey because it gives him a bit more legitimacy). I'd love to know who asked to meet in public, it would tell us a lot.

Looks like he has just got off the Metro as the exit door is just past where Littlewoods photo is, probably got train from London to Newcastle. Using public transport to go to a multi million £££ deal meeting does not inspire confidence. And that's without mentioning the blokes appearance.
Not sticking up for the bearded one but Donald flew in via private helecopter and that hasn't ended well.

but the liar in charge now is ok?
No, he needs to leave and take his smug mate Methven (he really annoys me) with him. Storey however, seems to be a different level of liar, conman and bullshitter.
I first read about his involvement with the Haas F1 team and Whyte Bikes last year here https://www.pinkbike.com/news/whyte-bikes-vs-rich-energy-what-happened-next.html It's a fairly long article, but shows Storey for what he is.
Has anyone seen a can of his mythical Rich Energy drink? I'm in Australia and I've never seen one.

If he was after publicity he'd be doing a Michel Knighton ...

... this hasn't received much attention outside of our little bubble tbf.

I believe he thinks he's in with a chance or, as you say, it's more idiocy from Donald.

**** it, I hope it goes through just so I can see how it turns out. I'm so depressed, bored and jobless due to Covid so I'm up for a bit of a rollercoaster ride.
That’s the spirit, mate <laugh>

You can buy the stuff, just not many places.

I just can’t believe that someone would be so brash as to be on the radio communicating with the fans without any possibility, it’s a wait and see.

He said the truth will come out about Haas, there’s a documentary on Netflix where that heavily features called drive to survive about F1 (great show), and it all seemed genuine, it wasn’t.

He alluded to on the radio that it was like someone agreed that above his head and the ‘truth will out’, but on the show he was absolutely leading it.

There’s red flags, but there’s also that hope that somehow he’s pulled it off.

He’s the kind of zany bastard that would try and make **** happen if he got in, which could be wonderful, or a massive train wreck.
