It is certainly is a breach of contract if you are not sick. I think it is unlikely that all the NHS workers (1.2 million) would become sick at the same time.
Hopefully just the ones nursing you when you catch covid Peter. You can't really complain their risk of catching it on a ward is high so it's the smart move as I'm sure you will agree.
No they wouldn't they can cite stress and be off. Who wouldn't have stress and anxiety working on a covid ward. But the stupid ****s kept going in eh!! Morals and doing the right thing who would have thought it Obviously alien to an accountant that isn't it.
2.75 million building workers 30 deaths 4,000 professional footballers 0 deaths I dont think that's very good statistics to highlight the risk of getting injured in the last nine games before a player's contract ends. It might convince some people though.
This is verbatim what Phil Buckingham wrote yesterday '..... Lichaj, Irvine and Kingsley are all due to see their City deals expire in a fortnight and none of the experienced trio have been able to agree short-term extensions that would enable them to feature in the final nine games.
It's a sad state of affairs if we are defending rich footballers not playing because there is a tiny chance of an injury, but EXPECT care workers to carry on working (some on minimum wage) even when there is chance of them catching a potentially deadly virus and then take it home with them to their family. Funny old world.
And you bore for England. If you can't see it's morally wrong not to see out the season with the club you've been playing for then you have no moral compass. That's all players at their clubs not just Hull City.
you seem really upset that I showed you up for being an hypocrite when you insulted me and then complained about an insult before insulting yet again you will be wasting your time typing any more insults because I'm putting you on ignore because you dont seem to understand your own position: in favour of insults/against insults
Ah the old youre angry online? Is it how hard i press the keys?? good put me on ignore Anyone who takes your view on this is bankrupt morally .
Although City were unwilling to trigger the 12-month extensions in both players’ original contracts, with questions raised over their value, there was a readiness to keep Lichaj and Irvine for at least another year on reduced terms. It is understood Lichaj was given the chance to stay with City for 2020-21 and not just the next month but the USA international decided he could find greater security away from East Yorkshire. Irvine was considered to be in the same bracket as Kevin Stewart and Jon Toral by City’s hierarchy and could discuss a potential extension once this season was concluded. Unlike Stewart and Toral, though, Irvine felt his services to the Tigers over the last three years warranted more than the short-term extension he was unwilling to sign. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/hull-city-contracts-lichaj-irvine-4233505
So sounds like both Irvine and Lichaj bailed out rather than stay to help their team mates, fans and the club in this coming battle. Captain and vice captain. And some people are saying 'thanks'. They've deserted us and their mates and abandoned their leadership roles. Such a "pleasure and honour" it's been eh. **** off.
I doubt..... really doubt that Lichaj would get a club in the championship!!!! and Kingsley will be playing 4th tier in the blink of an eye..
