I loved those mad crazy days following Saints.

I still say The Dell was the best ground I have ever been to, and this team wasn't too shabby either .....

What year was that picture ? - most of that team was in the side beaten 5-1 by Aberdeen in a pre-season tournament hosted by Aberdeen in 1981. We beat WHU 3-0 too ! Lawrie Mac was very complimentary. I missed it, away at sea.
 
The Sunday Mirror are reporting that Joseph da Grosa might be interested in buying the Saints.
Can’t find a link, but he was in the running to buy Newcastle.
He used to own Bordeaux and is reported as being a billionaire. Haven’t checked his current worth.

Looks like the perfect fit. Doesn’t invest much and tries to get young players and sell on, if I understand this report correctly.
