I heard a hopeful plea. I didn’t hear anything concrete to suggest there was anything on the horizon.

I said I don't agree with either extreme position because neither of them are what has happened in public agreements.

So a statement from the current owner, in the last week, that there may be further FPP involvement, isn't a deafening silence after all ...

... seems you heard it but had forgotten.

    No one is infallible.

    You obviously struggle with comprehension.
I said there is nothing concrete from either party. In FPPs case there is literally nothing.
You seem to hanging your hopes on a hopeful plea from Donald which smacks of sheer desperation.
Absolutely nothing meaningful or concrete from Donald there I’m afraid.

Not as much as you, obviously ...

... a deafening silence for example, you don't understand what that means.

You're actually contradicting yourself in post after post.

So, it wasn't a deafening silence and he says there may be future FPP involvement ...

... exactly what I just said.

There was no deafening silence, nor did he say FPP would no longer be involved.

Make your minds up, you two, you can't have it both ways.

A deafening silence in regards to anything progressing. I didn’t mean Donald was a mute!
You’ve gone from being adamant a deal was happening to hanging your hat on a hopeful cry from a desperate owner in regards to the takeover.
A 3rd season in the 3rd tier looms large with a very mediocre squad. I don’t imagine that’s going to whet the yanks appetite.

Well he didn't, he said he hopes they would do more if we got success.

Regardless, I was just posting facts, not taking sides. I've said I think you're both too extreme to see what's actually happening in front of your eyes. You'd both rather believe it was more or less than what it actually is.

This is your actual quote in its entirety ...

"Donald and FPP are only ones who know the details, the silence from both parties is deafening."

Correct. And what we have is a hopeful plea rather than anything worthwhile.
People can rabbit on for hours sometimes without ever actually saying anything. I’m sure that’s something you’re familiar with.

    That's exactly what he said.

They are interested in more involvement.

Obviously the circumstances my change but, as things stand, they're not disinterested in further involvement.

What you choose to see is a hopeful plea but you've absolutely no Idea of the true situation.

The current owner is saying FPP may increase their involvement ...

    ... that's not a plea to anyone.

    Neither have you.
What it wasn’t was a confident quote stating there would be further involvement.
Donald clearly operating on ‘hope’ (his words) than expectation.

So it's not a deafening silence and not a plea ...

    ... glad that's established.

FPP are currently the biggest investors, even as things stand.

If Donald throws the towel in they'll be the new owners and that's a fact.

    It’s exactly that.
I understand you desperately clutching at straws due to the embarrassment of your previous comments regarding the takeover but it’s severely clouding your judgement.
As my username suggests I take a more pragmatic approach.

What are you talking about man? You said he said that they are. He actually said that he hopes that they are.

If I say I hope that the Victoria's Secret girls are interested in a life away from modelling and would rather become part of a harem for me in my spare room, it doesn't mean that they actually are.

I would hardly call it an off hand comment, considering every thing else that went on beforehand mate. However, if the club is as good a financial footing as he says it is, and since he is a man of his words, which were “fully committed to sell following the RAWA statement”, it shouldn’t be too difficult to flip should it? I am speculating that the problem is on SDs side.

Cheeky bar steward. But your “realistic” view which is just supposition and assumption can be stated like a fact. Are you David Moyes as you’re a proper mood hoover?
