Fair enough. He does go on a bit so tbh I haven't read everything posted.
If he/she has treated you with a lack of respect then respond as you feel fit.
Kittens seems OK to me in comparison to some if the other idiots you have to deal with, although doesn't let things lie which is irritating and entertaining at same time.

I tend to ignore him mate but he can't resist jumping on my posts.

You would obviously not see that, why would you, so my irritation might seem unreasonable.

People put forward actual evidence, he puts forward guesswork ...

... but inevitably believes he's right.

They could be the new owners tomorrow if Donald gives up.

Has anyone said they're trying to usurp Donald ...

... I've seen no such assertion.

What appears to be, on the surface, may turn out to be entirely different.
All guesswork, nothing concrete in that at all sadly.
These people are ‘apparently’ big hitters, surely forcing Donald’s hand shouldn’t be an issue for them.
Certainly doesn’t seem to be anything imminent on the horizon.

Big hitters become that way by screwing people into the ground in my experience ...

... not by throwing money up in the air and hoping it lands on black.

If hard nosed businessman want something bad enough they’ll take it.
If Donald has lead them up the garden path believing they had a deal only to be humiliated at the 11th hour by relative small fry in Donald it doesn’t surprise me it’s all gone very quiet on the takeover front.

Yes I'm sure people helping out with a £10 million loan, that could lead to ownership for that amount, feel humiliated.

Donald is supposed to want 4 times that so a little patience would appear to be quite prudent.

FPP are in pole position and Donald can't do anything without their approval ...

... if he fails to repay the loan they get the club for peanuts.

If they’ve had what they believe to be a deal in place only for Donald to custard pie them at the last minute I don’t imagine they’d be overly amused.
That’s if this actually happened mind, we have no evidence to suggest they were ever after owning us lock, stock and barrel. Only ramblings by non entities online.

Non entities ike the BBC, Donald, Ross, ALS, etc ...

... OK, point proved.

I think they're somewhere between the two extremes. Realistically if they absolutely loved the investment and wanted to own us outright immediately as opposed to waiting on the convertible loan, they would either do that now or they'd walk away.

Flip side, I think it's equally ludicrous to say they have no intention of ever doing so. Even if that chance is diminished by the club not being successful, they have an option to come on board in future and maybe in a years time we'll have enough upward momentum to make that happen.

He did not say that, he said he hopes that if we get success that they'll do a little bit more. That they'd become 'fully engaged' or some such term.

Rich, successful and ruthless businessmen do not take kindly to being lead up the garden path.
If Donald has done this id imagine they’re now sitting back and allowing the repayments to come in until it’s fully paid back and they’ll then move swiftly on.

So the silence isn't deafening then ...

... and how does what I posted differ to what you've just said.

"Donald said, just in the last few days, that FPP are interested in further involvement."

My gut feeling is that you're right. If Donald had made this acrimonious, they wouldn't have gone into any kind of business with him.

But the flip side of that is that they did a deal they were comfortable with. On their terms, not his. That's a good thing for us because it means they were happy with his valuation and happy to take things slowly.

Donald said, just in the last few days, that FPP are interested in further involvement ...

... perhaps my hearing is better than yours.

Donald said ‘he hoped’. That was also dependent on success on pitch which looks a long way off.
All in all there is nothing imminent on horizon. That’s if there’s any horizon at all.

So you agree you heard it and that there's a chance of further involvement as confirmed by the current owner ...

... which contradicts both of your claims.
