Donald blurted out that there were new owners in a panic, introduced them to Ross by mistake and that all the evidence of a takeover is just in the minds of gullible dopes like myself. You have no interest in other threads about the club, Tees struggles. Sombreros new granddaughter, Conspiracys family, Becs financial situation, etc ... ... it's just your miserable agenda where you dismiss anything and everything that doesn't suit. Just give it a rest man.
I am not ignoring it. I just don't think an off hand comment like that is as meaningful as some people think. The thing is lads, I'm just also stating what I see, with no bias towards either outcome. I want FPP to take over, but I think the deal they did is the right one for them and a good one for us if we get there. I'm not sure there was a magic wand that could be waved to get them to do another deal.

I have a lot of respect for you but think you are being harsh on Kittens. He might be a know it all, might tie himself in knots at times but he seems decent. Grumpy buys and sells him in my opinion, but he sticks in there, doggedly!

That's fair enough mate, I can see why you might think that. I'm afraid I'm applying the principle that I've brought my sons up with. It's not exactly the theory of relativity but it's basically that 'for every unreasonable and adverse action is a totally unreasonable reaction' Namely that while ever people are equally respectful I'll continue to be polite ... ... but as soon as someone starts to work their ticket, and patronise me, I'll respond in kind. It's very depressing at the moment to the point where I have little to no interest in football, the worry being if an fpp takeover is reliant on promotion I cannot see the current set up being capable of achieving it in the foreseeable future
That's just pessimistic guesswork mate, KTF. The reality is that FPP could own the club tomorrow if Donald gave the word.
I would never have dreamed the day would come when I would feel that way I used to be broken for a week after a defeat now it’s like 3 seconds.
It is a chore sometimes supporting the lads but we are suckers for punishment lol If I'm being honest I havent missed football in the slightest since it's been stopped. As soon as it starts back up though will be like it never stopped and back to normal disappointing weekends
It’s crap mate, no two ways about it. Sadly I think this whole FPP thing is pie in the sky now. We’ve had our in the knows across various forums getting themselves all giddy based on very little and here we still are. We needed to bounce back and quickly but we are a big club with a league 1 squad. It’s going to take investors with very deep pockets to give us fans the side our support warrants.

They may become more involved, they may not. At present they have been hanging around for months yet still haven’t managed to usurp small fry like Donald. Whatever their involvement it appears they aren’t going to be the knights in shining armour we all hoped for.
They could be the new owners tomorrow if Donald gives up. Has anyone said they're trying to usurp Donald ... ... I've seen no such assertion. What appears to be, on the surface, may turn out to be entirely different.
Fair enough. He does go on a bit so tbh I haven't read everything posted. If he/she has treated you with a lack of respect then respond as you feel fit. Kittens seems OK to me in comparison to some if the other idiots you have to deal with, although doesn't let things lie which is irritating and entertaining at same time.
