Anyway you can be sure ?
I mean they opened it for NHS staff ?
Just trying to help .
They definitely advertised it but I don't know what actually happened as I went straight around the roundabout and left.

I thught you were under a 4 week self-imposed site ban?Have you seen Solid-Air2's post about Tesco having to call the Police ?
I would say Unbelievable , but sadly it's not !
There seem to be 3 groups developing.
The first are the eternal deniers and those who still think this is an overreaction.
The second are those who are taking it seriously but responsibly.
The third are the ones who have taken the news to some next level and gone completely fcking stoopid selfish!
On a lighter note, just seen this on the Saints board and it's brilliant:
You must log in or register to see media

unfortunately you're probably right .I expect that it went a similar way down here.
maybe in Finland but not here in UK as a sizeable proportion of old folk still seem convinced this is an over reaction though that may be changing after this weekend ..Group 1 are almost all below 40 years of age and have no existing medical conditions. Ah modern relativist thinking.

Old people will be like that, because someone who's 70, in their 30s something like a corona outbreak might have gone largely unnoticed and they think we're all too soft now (and they are right in many ways, but the world has changed in connectivity since they were with it) so I kinda understand why some of them are "whats all the fuss about". I'd say its also mainly the men of the older generation, especially those like me who wont see a doctor unless their arm is hanging off
Group 1 on the other hand know ****ing better but dont care because they are not the high risk group. They are willing to accept (or just not think about) the deaths of large numbers of old and or sick people as long as its not their own family and friends.
Self interested asswipes
From the original post The first are the eternal deniers and those who still think this is an overreaction. which is why i pointed out your assumption that group 1 would almost exclusively be under 40 as it is just simply incorrect .Old people will be like that, because someone who's 70, in their 30s something like a corona outbreak might have gone largely unnoticed and they think we're all too soft now (and they are right in many ways, but the world has changed in connectivity since they were with it) so I kinda understand why some of them are "whats all the fuss about". No mate group 1 are the deniers. They believe it's no worse than the flu and it's all an overreaction. Many of these will include the older folk who consider living through the 70's was akin to living through the war and feel they've seen it all.
