I've had a couple of texts from ppl telling me shelves are full and fully stocked for once. Looks like supply chains are kicking in.

Let the idiots queue up, they'll soon realise there's no need.

 

Yeah I ended up at a local shop where the delivery truck was parked outside. Much easier.

 

I only went this morning as 9-10 was apparently open for NHS staff only so thought it might not be too bad but obviously I was wrong.

 

They should let NHS staff beat the queues? Or put a sign up telling ppl to only queue before 10 if they're NHS staff otherwise they'll be told to leave. Shame them and they'll fck off.

 

Is that the Tesco in Tebourba way ?

 

I thought they ( Tesco ) said there would be a browsing hour for NHS staff today before the Tills opened ?

 

IF this happens again , go to the front of the Q with your ID mate .

 

He can be both - a ruthlessly pragmatic ****.

 

They said the plan was for managers to id on the door but I wasn't waiting around to find out, and even then I wouldn't have envied them turning large amounts of people away.

Yeah that's the one mate, it was queued past the roundabout on the way in if you know what I mean? Another quarter of an hour and it would have been past the old hospital radio station.

Yes I know what you mean . Thinking about it they could all be NHS staff ?

 

Quite possibly tbf, no real way of knowing unless I stuck around which I had no intention of.

 

I'm pleased supermarkets are giving NHS staff this hour, but if it's as busy as it sounds they should give them as long as it takes till they are all through the tills and the shop is empty again - then open it again for the public. If that means Joe public has to wait 2 or 3 hours then let him/her post it on facebook and thank the selfish hoarding ****s who made it necessary.
