That was a crap appointment. I was talking to one of my mates in a shop and I was going on about how I didn't want John Gregory. Bloke behind the counter told me Wilkinson had the gig and I thought Gregory wouldn't have been so bad after all.

Training will be done now and players heading off soon
Be hard to keep a lid on it then.
So if markets don't change next hour or so probably just another rumour

    But then again who knows

Just to hopefully keep some of my credibility, I posted that as it linked to the Northern Echo article I had briefly mentioned earlier:

Honestly, I usually read the Wall Street Journal and Financial Times...

Nothing on the clubs website, think I'll wait till they announce something unless they're trying to keep it a secret.

Are you able to give any indication as to where you got this information from?

Yes mate, the lad had good reason to know and I've known him for over 20 years.

As I've said I'm backing off now until it's sorted, what a mess.

I've no idea who he is but I had a very similar message from a long term RTG poster who I'll be seeing at Wycombe.

He has no reason to lie so someone is deliberate passing duff info.

As I've said I'll keep away from it all and just sit back, Donald should've had a Ross replacement lined up.

Tomorrow will be 3 days until matchday at Wycombe ...

... as things stand Fowler will be in the dug out <doh>

Absolutely no chance of anyone getting that. Not defending Parkinson. He wouldn't have been my choice.
