Seems to be taking the Sun report as gospel which Donald has debunked, unless there's concrete breaking news which they've casually dealt with in a throwaway paragraph in another article.
Don't think so - but I think it's probably just a case of lazy journalism... the news of it breaking down will be all over - not just buried in a Northern Echo article (that are wrong more than they're right)

Majority has probably been on a Sunderland forum as well I bet. I just don't get it... would I **** want to go on a forum full of mags, what would be the point?
I've heard meeting on Friday. Absolutely no reason to doubt the lad who messaged me about it and it's not breaking any confidences because he has also mentioned it on the main board over the road. Guess we'll find out soon enough. I'm confident that we'll hear nowt until then (maybe even until the weekend) but since I believe him I can't help but think Jack Ross going will be somehow linked, especially given the timings. Like I say all we can do really is wait and see, won't stop us discussing it all day though
