I'm not sure, just the fact he talked about it, and stressed unofficially that it was more than 50% complete. Suddenly 2 days later the Sun was saying it was doubtful, even though Donald denied it and has been quiet ever since.

He never said anything about percentages at the talk in. It was someone online who mentioned the 50/50. The scum repeated it as a quote from SD. He in turn tweeted his denial but in answer to a tweet from a fan he said the deal was better than 50/50. If the prospective buyers have took offence enough to scupper a multi million dollar deal I'd be very surprised. He could, however be in America to save his own skin.
