I think the reaction to any City fans in the Shoreham End would have been far worse, from both fans and police.
Did I say it doesn't happen? I think I pretty much said the exact opposite in saying I don't understand why it DOES happen. How odd.

The 'point' you were making was that these things happen. My query was why. You added literally nothing to my query. Thanks for your assistance. It was as helpful as the time you told me there are no Puffins at Flamborough then proceeded to query why I was doing anything outside of Hull. That was odd too.
The point is that these things do happen. Knowing that, steps should be taken to prevent it happening. Which, unsurprisingly the SMC fell short on.
I would have thought telling someone the correct location of the puffins, Bempton cliffs, would be helpful to anyone wishing to see them as they would be disappointed if they went to Flamborough.

Oh god. You still don't acknowledge the presence of puffins a Flamborough Cliffs? Yes Bempton also has some but Flamborough has too. Heck, Flamborough even had a Puffin Festival last year. Seriously, take a trip. There are loads on the cliffs with the Kittiwakes, Guillemots, Razorbills, etc.

Stop trying to shoehorn in your obsession with standing, tutting, etc. I'm not interested in that 'debate'. People can enjoy it how they like. As long as it doesn't include punching somebody.
I don't think simply saying 'passion' is enough. I am passionate about stuff. Never punched anybody because they have slightly different focuses for their passions though. I'm interested in the mindset. Why people think football gives reason for violence. What is going through their minds when swinging fists.
If you want to give sure of seeing plenty of puffins go to Bempton. My next door neighbour is involved with helping at Bempton and a keen birdwatcher.

In what way? I've only replied to comments. Not even many comments. I'm just trying to get into the mindset of why some people get violent at football matches. Not managed to get any idea yet of what it is that makes people do it. What's your opinion? Do you ever fight at games? If so what is your thought process?

Hull FC, KR, Hull City and Sheffield United fans were involved in trouble
The company that runs the KCOM Stadium says it is working with police to find the people involved in violence that marred two games over the Easter weekend.
Hull FC and Hull KR fans clashed in the East Stand on Good Friday as bottles were thrown during the derby clash between the two bitter rivals.
Just three days later, Hull City and Sheffield United supporters were pictured brawling in the North Stand at Easter Monday's Championship game.
The two violent incidents, the first of which also involved a smoke bomb being thrown onto the pitch, came less than 72 hours apart.
Videos taken at the derby showed missiles being thrown by both sections of supporters with Hull Kingston Rovers the first to act after the game, threatening "strong action against any supporter identified" and saying they would not hesitate to ban anyone involved.

On Monday, Sheffield United fans who bought tickets among the home supporters clashed with City fans when celebrating the visiting team's first goal.
Stewards and police weighed in to break up the two sets of supporters, several of whom were pictured throwing fists at each other.
A large group had to be escorted by police into the away end, having bought tickets to sit among the City fans - the visitors sold out their allocation for what was one of their biggest games of the season as they hunted a return to the Premier League.
The Football Association confirmed they would investigate the brawl that broke out with a spokesman telling the Sun it "will be liaising with the clubs and Humberside Police" to investigate what happened.

The incidents have forced the SMC, who run the stadium shared by the football and rugby league club, to say they will review their current ticketing arrangements.
In a statement, a spokeswoman for the SMC said: "SMC are reviewing the weekend’s incidents with Humberside Police and will take appropriate action with the individuals involved.
"SMC will also consider current arrangements in light of recent crowd behaviour."
More than 20,000 people attended the Good Friday derby where FC and KR fans squared off, before just over 14,000 watched the Tigers go down to a heavy defeat to their opponents from South Yorkshire.

It may well depend on how many stands they close. There have been rumours the North Stand or the East Stand will be closed next season.
So, basically, the police will be engaged in their favourite pastime, spending time tracking down and banning Hull City fans. Meanwhile what happens to the Sheffield United fans who, aided by the ineptness of the SMC, were in breach of ground regulations? They are escorted to join the other Sheffield fans and return home untroubled by Humberside's finest. I wonder if the FA will be having words about the police endangering fans and ignoring ground safety regulations by putting g extra fans in an area where all the tickets had been sold?

There are signs on the turnstiles clearly saying HOME FANS ONLY. The Sheff U fans knew exactly what they were doing and it is they who the police should be concentrating on. Plus those who sold them the tickets and placed every home fan in a volatile situation. No home fans should even be questioned. They are members who have the right to be in that stand. If it was City fans in the away section then it would be a different scenario, but it wasn't.
Sheff U fans were also in the West Stand but they did not draw attention to themselves by waving their arms about and gobbing off.
