Hull City Under-21s welcome Ipswich Town to the MKM Stadium on Tuesday 30 April for the Tigers’ final home game of the Professional Development League.

Conor Sellars’ side sit fifth in the Northern table, winning 13 of their 27 games played. Recently being on a seven-game unbeaten and six-game winning run, City’s great run came to an end with a 3-1 defeat away at Bristol City at Ashton Gate last Tuesday.

However, City came roaring back with a 3-0 win over Crewe Alexandra last time out. Goals from Vaughn Covil, Henry Sandat and Raj Palit saw the Tigers secure all three points at the Dransfield Stadium ahead of Ipswich’s arrival.

The opposition Ipswich are sat fifth in the Southern division at the time of writing, accumulating 43 points in 27 games played, winning 13 league games and netting 58 goals. Currently sat three points off second-placed QPR, Ipswich won their most recent fixture 2-0 over 10-man Wigan Athletic after finishes in each half from Leon Ayinde and a trialist.

Entry for the game, kick-off 3pm, is free for all supporters by entering the South West gate. Free parking will be available in the South West car park while refreshments will be available to purchase from the West Stand concourse. Please note that the MKM Stadium is a cashless stadium.

That sounds like an attractive proposition to anyone living locally and not at work.
