Never mind Brother Jacob, what about the life and times of Comrade Boris. I especially like the tales of when he was arm in arm with Comrade Arthur on the picket lines.
According to yougov polls, there is a higher percentage wanting no deal than to remain - tbf this was forwarded to me from someone who reads the Daily Fail so had a look and it does say that on there - not sure where else you can get this confirmation from though.
Also, if there were to be a second referendum surely all options should be regarding leave. There should be no option for remain as that referendum has been and gone.
The best thing is I can see a second vote. And I can see a majority for no deal rather than remaining or Mays deal. What a clusterfuck that will be.
The people are not allowed to change their mind. Under any circumstances. Ever. It would be the end of democracy.
It would be hilariously grotesque. The current meltdowns are bad enough that they didn’t get what they want.
Quite an expensive waste of valuable time would be the first issue with it. Given we’ve already spunked away both with our dithering, that would not sit well with anyone I would hope. We can vote again after we’ve left if we decide if we want back in. I think it’s just the fact that we haven’t even carried out the first vote is the problem. Would you be keen on a third vote if it changed to remain and leave didn’t like it? It can’t be decreed undemocratic afterall. So what you are suggesting, if we are to be fair to all people, would send us into a never ending purgatory. Or would this convieniently be the final vote - provided remoaners get what they want? To be honest our politicians have done a fine job of getting us into a similar deadlock. I’m not finding it very helpful.
Abuse takes many forms. Some people find words and the long term effects of them worse than actual violence.
I haven't noticed leave voters having been reluctant to abuse those who disagree. They are, however, far more likely to threaten violence if things don't go their way. You, to be fair, do neither.
You gotta laugh, remainers spend page after page on here denouncing leavers then claim they are the ones under attack. Go figure.
I voted for the Lib Dems in 2010 - I have changed my mind following the coalition and seeing that the promises made to form that coalition were not honoured can we have a re-vote again please.
I didn't actually vote for them- it was a point being made over the continued ridiculous notion that any referendum should contain remain. I always vote for Green party though they are losing my vote next election. Labour are ****ers Conservatives are ****ers Pretty much all of them are ****ers.
