Looks like the positions of the EU and the ERG are starting to soften.

A revised deal to be done?

    How you calling it?

That MPs wil continute to do what is best for them whether they voted to Remain or Leave.

Democracy has already died in the UK. Just hand it all to the EU, scrap the House of Lords, scrap the Monarchy and adopt the euro.

It's an utter disgrace. Whatever happens, it just needs to happen. Two things that tell you politics needs to be burned to the ****ing ground:

    - In the midst of this unmitigated disaster, Jez Corbyn wants a general election so his bony ****hole can get into Number 10 - Jezza 1st, everyone else second.
    - Of all the bills most likely to be agreed is Yvette Cooper's - what does she want? That we extend this ****ing disaster another 9 months, giving everyone another 9 months of political ****wittery, posturing and panic.

I ****ing hate, abhor, detest, loathe modern politics. PMQ, HoL, HoP, non-committal, question dodging, self obsessed ****ers, apart from David Lammie. The whole thing should be absolutely Guy Fawkes'd. A referendum idiotic British people should never be voting on (we didn't vote to enter, we haven't voted on one EU or World Trade deal ever, why this ****ing vote), which was swayed by flat-out lies from people who should be imprisoned (Johnson, Farage), is still pressing ahead in spite of - at best - splitting the country down the middle, and at worst being against the will of British people. And why? Because politicians are scared. Scared for what THEY, individually, lose - if this doesn't show that politicians have no interest in Britain, nothing ever will.

Actually I don’t think his vocabulary stretches even that far. More likely a “T” is as far as he manages.

Just put a bet on a no deal Brexit, on the grounds that is the outcome if nobody can agree on what to do in the next 2 months.

Given my record with betting, I now confidently expect a deal to be agreed at about 9am tomorrow morning.

I bet Theresa May is! I bet her husband has told her umpteen times to quit, this whole business can't be doing her health any good. It's much to her credit that she's still there.

Can I suggest avoiding the EU if you leave.
I hear Donald is welcoming brickies with open arms across the pond, so get in when you can.

It can't be easy trying to deal with 600+ difficult children on a daily basis with there little gangs spitting dummies out at every turn. Then she has the arrogant tossers across the channel to deal with for good measure.

She volunteered for the job. Once she got it, she has pursued it with equal parts dogged determination and rank incompetence.

Aye, if she hadn't been so incompetent, we could be happily waving bye-bye to the EU by now.

May has the impossible job. There is no deal (excuse the pun) which she can come up with which a majority will support.

    You have
    1. Hard Brexit
    2. Soft Brexit
    3. Remain
    4. Floaters

Within 1 and 2 you have variations as to who wants what. Each group is sizeable and unlikely to agree with any other group with the exception of the “floaters” but they all won’t necessarily agree with each other anyway and won’t all agree with one of the other groups.

Cameron is essentially the one to blame. He shouldn’t have proposed the referendum in the first place as it is too complex an issue to settle on a simple “Yes” or “No” basis and then he bailed out when it didn’t go the way he expected leaving someone else to look for the baby that he had managed to throw out with the bath water.

It will probably be somewhat ironic that the deal we will end up with will be a “no deal” because enough people can’t agree as to the type of deal we should have.
