1.minimum wage/National Living wage*
21 and over £7.38 & £7.83 respectively

4.does it matter ?
5.To pay it's employees the Real Living wage hopefully.
Your final point is frankly ridiculous since i somehow think you had educational qualifications and skills which allowed you to earn more than the "minimum wage" from quite early early on in your career. For many these days all available jobs are minimum wage or just slightly better.
*The National Living Wage is really just the minimum wage rebranded to try and take the political sting out of the Real Living Wage .

Reduce the amount of money Agents are allowed to leech from the game to pay all staff properly. Simple.
Many years ago I used to earn £75.00 take home weekly in London, it was okay then, but now if you earn less than
£400 take home in a week in London you are done. A one month bus pass in a month was less than £10, and it was not zoned then.
People born and bred there might quite naturally like to live and work there. Just like a lot of people might like to stay in their area.No one forces people to live and work in London. I can’t think of a worse place to live and work, even ignoring the fact everything is 3 times more expensive.
couple of pointsI was told clearly if I didn't like it I could move jobs.. by the guy in the office the first day I started
irrespective of anything else there has to come a point when we say If people want to survive on the minimum wage only and never improve then ok fine...
the argument is not really about people being able it's about a minimum standard of dignity based on earning from honest work.
lfc said all it's employees. people extend that to all subcontracted workers so they are putting words in lfc mouths.
I happen to agree that the club should pay all more than the legal minimum but I can still see this as arm twisting.
now... less than a pound an hour isn't exactly bank breaking right.... my point is if you cant live on it change jobs now when you are clearly able to change jobs in this market.
people need to understand this and value themselves irrespective of their education. even the experience of the job itself has value that can move them up.
couple of points
nearly all minimum wage jobs are in effect topped up by the state via tax credits/UC and/or housing benefit as unless they're a "non householder"people could not live on it .
"my point is if you cant live on it change jobs now when you are clearly able to change jobs in this market".
If people could get better paying jobs just like that don't you think they might already have done so ?
PS i'm making general points here rather than particularly LFC and their sub contractors though when the tenders come up for renewal it should be part of the contract that LFC are a Real Living Wage employer and all sub contracters will be required to do so as well in relation to staff on LFC business.
I tell you now, just change jobs is an amazing statement to make and shows a massive detachment from the reality for a vast amount of people.
In alot of places people are made up they can get one job never mind picking and ****ing choosing. That's if you are lucky enough to be offered an actual contract and not some 0 hour bollocks when your not even arsed how much an hour you get you just want to get some hours in the vague hope you can buy food for your kids.
wtf is with the travel pay moaning ffs.tbf - have read some more reviews and they are a mixed bag. Some love it, some hate it, some say good pay, some say poor pay, some say they are only paid for working and not for travel to get to the grounds !!
Given these comments from the people who work for Stadium TM, how does LFC or any other club, make sure the employees are paid fairly?
also true.
''Steward (Current Employee) – Liverpool – 20 December 2017wtf is with the travel pay moaning ffs.
most of us don't get ruddy paid for traveling to work.
''Steward (Current Employee) – Liverpool – 20 December 2017
If you like working with people and talking to the customers then this is a very good job. Some days can be worse than others because when you're travelling further away, they don't pay for the full day of travel. They only pay for the hours working inside the ground.''
That was a bit more rantish than I meant it to be. No offence meant young man.
The stewards at the game are sub-contracted from Stadium TM so they work several grounds, they are not directly employed by LFC which is why I asked how can the club keep an eye on what they are paid.I wouldn't have thought we took stewards to away games, surely who ever is at home provides all the security.
