The Fulham owner also responded to Sky yesterday saying that they didn't lose out to Brighton for Montoya, but instead decided against signing him.

He does come across as someone who'll defend his own club at all costs, even if that includes lying.

I think he’s a bit of a dick. So was Al Fayed come to that, but they both seem to have served their club pretty well.

No statues of Micheal Jackson in SW6 at the moment unfortunately.

I should dislike this Ings move. 18-20m for a striker whose knees are probably crocked is not smart.

But I really like Ings. Both as a player (when he's healthy) and from what I have read he seems like a really nice person who everyone likes. He's healthy for now, and if he's healthy I think he's a solid player. Maybe it was just terrible luck that he happened to suffer two knee injuries so quickly one after the other. Different areas of different legs after all. Also, since we now have two strikers who IMO, are both good maybe we can rotate them and keep them both healthy.

We have wingbacks now, so it means we could use Gabbiadini on the right and let him play an inside forward/second striker type. This is also conceivably a good role for Long.

Probably just wishful thinking. But yeah, I was pulling for Ings anyway. So I'm kind of excited by this move and happy he is here. I honestly can't say it's a good move because objectively, it isn't. But it's a fun move for me as a supporter so I'll sort of let that slide and pretend we signed 2014 Ings.

I think LR & RK have cracked it. By default or just their dastardly (£) plan, I think they have it. We’re back on track to achieve a “pushing top 6”. Mark my words. With just a tiny, minuscule hint of blu....
