Good thing it's a loan without any commitments. I mean the guy hasn't played any football for how long, 2-3 years. I wouldn't have take Cristiano Ronaldo after such a long time out.

Well what they have isn’t good enough to win the league as proven the last few years, so not adding to the squad is either pure stupidity or pure arrogance . Either way **** spurs bunch of ****s.

I hope he does well, then we sign him for £5m and then he does even better, and Liverpool re-sign him for £50m

Well we can still sell players (by sell of course i mean send them on loan and cover most of the wages)

To a league with an open transfer window. Europe for example and presumably the EFL which still allows loans.

Indeed, we could still loan Long to Bulgaria.

Oh yeah good point, maybe I should save my snark for a few more weeks. Davis can still go to Rangers I guess? Forster to Dinamo Kiev?

Pretty satisfied with who has come in, i'll let the club worry about who leaves and how.

Yes, that’s their problem. I’m only worried about who plays for us on the pitch, not who isn’t.

Yup, FM has a lot to answer for. Suddenly ordinary fans are worrying about our wage bill. Unless it’s Pompeyesque in insanity, I give it not a second thought.

Right, just finished packing for tomorrow’s holiday after a long day at work and a long drove home. All packed just in time to see who we sign on the last hour of the window!! Roll on Les’ big smiling grin at 5 minutes to midnight with his arm around our new £30m striker.

Have I missed anything else during the day?

Ings. Pleased with that. Obviously we weren’t going to sign another expensive striker with Austin gabbiadini long and the new guy. His lack of match time is a concern but maybe he’ll be fit in time for our mid season slump?

According to Klopp he's the fittest he's been. No idea how true that is.

It is a shame we lost Tadic this window, but there is a huge silver lining.

We will never get that fear we got when we were awarded a penalty and realised Tadic was still on the pitch....

Heh, we're paying significantly more for Ings than we did for either Austin or Gabbiadini.
