I'm behind Bruce but this would be mental, literally mental £10 mill for a 31 year old on massive wages, in disgusted

Might do a decent job for you but 10m is a bit much, I'd say 6 or 7 would be more fair. Still, he's English and Tottenham overprice their players as it is.

Don't want to sound all doom and gloom but bring on the hoof ball, shows Brucie is an average manager and has no tactical knowledge. Our best players are Gyan and Sess and we are just gunna go past them and into Crouch.

10m for Crouch would of rather had Pav or Defoe and play proper football.

It would put Larsson to good use though. Simplest tactic in the world, great crosser and a 6"8 striker.

Stoke fan here.. Pulis did bid 18/20 million for Palacios and Crouch.. not sure what's happening but...

IF we sign him, I will shoot Pulis, before topping myself.. WAY OTT with the asking price IMHO.

I ****ing give up with everyone
We put put a bid in for an England international who by the way is Englands top scorer in recent years and still people are not happy.
    Ok
Remember the likes of these and see where we are now

    Kevin Kyle
    Chris Brown
    Daryl Murphy

FFs some of you need to get a grip and realise it will take a long time for us to be a regular top ten finishing side.

Lets put it another way, we are all agreed that £10million is ridiculous.

Not nearly as ridiculous as not bringing someone in though, we need a striker who makes the ball stick and brings people into the game, unquestionably Crouch is that kind.

Does that mean Helmes has knocked us back then. Crouch will do a job but having already knocked us back wouldnt be my choice.
I will, however, if he comes give my 100% support.

Well I am a Crouch fan and not ashamed to say it time and time again. 10m? ****, were ****ed and Arry knows it so its full whack. I think everyone would love to see this lad Cisse and he would cost 12m.

He is 31 but to be honest, he has matured into a really classy footballer IMO in his latter years and I reckon he has a good 2 or 3 years at his very best still left. Better on the ground than in the air and a teriffic holder of the ball as the target man, he never had pace so wont lose any either. He is as close to Quinny style of football as there is around and Quinny was 29 when he came here and we got the best from mhim as well. With Gyan and Sess/Cisse (if we signed him as well) playing behind him we may well go 4-3-3 from now and that will be very exciting.

I am not a Bruce in fan but this would be a huge tick in the well done column for me.

Maybe its a double bid for both. Now, Gyan, Crouch, Cisse, Wickham and Won sounds bloody good to me as a forward line and lets Sess go back to the left wing or central midfield.

    Rock on.

I am extremely excited at he prospect of Crouch coming mate. Been a huge fan of his for 4 or 5 years and he will make a huge difference to our team. I am not a Bruce man but this is good news IMO.
