    Crouch reminds me of an at the time, a certain washed up 30 year OLD Irishman who joined us in 1996 & went on to become a Saint.

    Why are you guys all so harsh about Crouch? he's got a good goalscoring record, specially for england when he plays with good crossers. He banged them in when Beckham laid them on for him. Sure 10 mio is a lot of money but that's how much these footballers cost nowadays. Any 10 goal striker costs 8 figures now. I'd rather have Crouch over some guy who's put 10 in in france or the netherlands.

    Who knows anything as the Daily Mirror said yesterday - "The main problem is that Crouch does not want to leave London. He rejected the chance of a move to Sunderland yesterday but Stoke are hoping an improved package may tempt him to go.
