Agreed RER and let's hope Morris' injury isn't too serious.Shame in the end, but the better team on the day went through. Rounds off an excellent season's experience for both Godfrey and Morris though.

Godfrey on how much he has enjoyed his loan at Shrewsbury - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...ey-pain-after-play-off-final-defeat-1-5536888
Ben looks to have both the skills and character necessary to develop further and that could be a breakthrough next season. Sadly, Morris's knee injury does look serious, but at least he has time off now to recover.
I wonder whether any of Shrewsbury's better players will be on our radar this summer. Neyul will have seen them all in action several times, I wonder whether anyone impressed?
I think Godfrey has the potential to step and play a part for us next season, however I'm far from convinced Morris has the potential to play at a higher level than he's currently playing at.
Bad news on Carlton Morris' injury - it's his ACL, so will have an op next month and then a couple of months to get his fitness back - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...injury-in-shrewsbury-wembley-defeat-1-5542749 [HASHTAG]#thatsallweneed[/HASHTAG]
I'm not convinced that he was up to the job tbh
I'm not so sure Dave. Morris offers a different option to our other strikers. As a sub to add another option late in matches where we're chasing a goal, for example. We need at least three strikers to cope with injuries.
All I meant was he wasn't automatic starter for Shrews 2 leagues below us
He had a chat with his manager around Xmas time and he certainly made the starting 11 a lot more frequently after that. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.He made 54 appearances for the Shrews, scoring 10 goals. He certainly started their crucial end of season games, including at Wembley. At 6'2" he has a physical presence our other strikers lack, particularly for crosses into the box. At 22, he has gained a fair measure of experience and could rival Srbeny, IMO. Hard to say how it would work out though.
Vital Norwich has an article on Todd Cantwell's role next season.

They suggest that he could be a replacement for, or a back-up to Madders. That could be true, but I think he's more likely to play in a wide attacking role, especially if DF plays a 4-3-3 (as he did a lot in the final matches) to build attacks more quickly. TC could be a useful sub coming on to use his pace and trickery to break down stubborn sides. He came on in that role in his debut against Chelsea and was effective in doing so. It would be more like the role Pritchard played before he left.
Ebou Adams (let go by the club) has failed to agree a contract with Leyton Orient, despite them wanting him. Presumably that means that he'll be back in the football league soon then, as the player has said it wasn't finances that stopped him signing.
I find this story quite hard to believe considering how good he had been in the Under 23s, but why should he make it up and why now?? [HASHTAG]#confused[/HASHTAG]
