There appear to be two sources for the rumour, the first being loose talk from someone who works at Colney, taken up on X, and the second a hint from JHT himself in his press conference, which caught the attention of a Pink'Un poster who heard the entire presser.

I think he's an exciting player. Glad we signed him to a new deal. He just turned 18 in January.
