I think a lot of faith is being placed on the return of Moses, and Mason too. Neither have played for donkey's years, both have had serious injuries such that one (Moses) is quite likely to have lost some pace, and both, if/when they play again, might easily have lost some bottle. I think we need to wait and see then reassess.

It's no surprise though. They're very good players. If both had stayed fit, they may have been knocking on the England door. Granted its all ifs and buts though

Mason and Odubajo were miles away from an England call up, are you mental?

Jack Cork has been selected as has Livermore now regularly. They're no better than Mason.

Odubajo more difficult with Walker/Trippier but apart from that there's not to many around

With Livermore now seemingly being a regular in the England team, it's not hard to imagine that had Odubajo not got injured he'd have been close too.
I’m convinced if Hart can get in the team, literally anyone can.

Mason wasn't even playing that well for us. He was 100 miles away from and England call up.

Disagree. Don't think Mason or Dave were anywhere close to being considered. Some people didn't even think Mason should be in our starting 11 nevermind England. Dave was a solid premier league RB for a struggling team, no more no less.

I was meaning if they'd been fit. Odubajo's never played in the PL. Mason was coming into some form just before his injury.

Odubajo was better at times than Robertson for me, if he comes back well from injury I definitely think he could go on to play for a top team.

Is Nigel Adkins set for [HASHTAG]#hcafc[/HASHTAG]? I had a good chat with his no.2 Crozzer last night and could sense how eager they both are to get back into work, Would fully expect Crosby to go with him to the KC.

I've no doubt we'd see an improvement in performances under Adkins, at least in the short term, but there's something about him that irritates me.
Probably his voice and the fact he can turn a one minute interview into a 10 minute one..

I've seen a lot of criticism of Darnborough on Twitter, but I wonder just how accountable he is for this mess, we all seem to be in broad agreement that Sluts has been dealt a **** hand but if as head of recruitment he's been given not a great deal to spend and needing to get in 3/4 of a squad, assuming the Chelsea loanees weren't optional, to get in Stewart, Kingsley, Toral, Dicko, Irvine, Mazuch, Larsson and FC for about 15 mil isn't that bad is it???
You mentioned 8 players, we've had our pants down 8 times...

Which one of you was stood in the carrier bag?

There seems to be a lot of criticism of the Slutsky not getting the most out of this squad.

We don't have a squad, we have a bunch of individuals' that has been put together with no thought whatsoever and no balance. Yes we have some good individuals but that means bugger all.

People would say Cardiff don't have a good squad compared to other sides, it means nothing as Warnock has built a squad in his style. Sluts hasn't had that opportunity, he has been given cheap replacements for players and we have paid the price for a number of poor transfer windows.

Has sluts done well? No but with this 'squad' I reckon a lot of managers would fail.
