ive given up hoping for better, Adkins wouldn't be my first choice. I think its his constant positivety that got to me when he was at scunny.......which actually might be what we need

Darnbrough has a **** record wherever he has been. I don't think he should escape any criticism. He's a proven track record of failure.
I don’t know if this has been posted before but why did we pay £2 million for a centre back and then play loan players before him? It makes no sense to me, unless he is worse than said loans. Have we only found out that he is not as good as we thought, after he apparently played well in pre season? I know that is different to the real thing but is a reasonable guide to how the player will perform. If that is the case what the ****ing hell did we buy him for?
Adkins 'glass half full' attitude is at odds with this areas 'glass half empty' mentality.
Hull folk historically have always been of a melancholy humour.
Whatever. He is our player is the point I was trying to make. Also if the loan players are better it doesn't say a lot for him.
I think it's difficult to know whether they're bad signings or whether it's been poor from the gaffer. Suppose we''ll see if/when Adkins comes in
They may well have clauses in the loan contracts that stipulate if they are fit they'll play/start a game.
Hector is a mind boggler for me though. Why would a 25 year old professional play in the reserves and go out on loan rather than find a club that fits? If I was Darnbourgh I wouldn't have touched him with a barge-pole. We've let better players than him go at 20 to go and find first team football.

I'd much prefer Adkins to Lambert.
Hector was a regular in a team that finished 11th in the Bundesliga last season, when we signed him it looked like a great addition.
I think it's because teams are forever swapping and changing their team.
Back in the day the only issue was who was going to play at number 7. Was it Mally Lord, Paddy Greenwood or Alan Jarvis?
The rest picked themselves.
Also, players stayed longer at clubs and you had had 2 up 2 down.
No money back then and no rolling about like fannies and by god did those players give you 100%.
If its' in their contract to play .. and they are playing like twats.. drop them and see if the owning club take them back .. I'm willing to bet they won' the way some of them have performed this season
They have been dropped (at least Aina has), so it's obviously not true.
You can only recall a loan player within a transfer window anyway.

I'll accept Adkins as long as he does not prowl the tech area looking at his feet like a wounded bear.
The stream chap asked for donations.
If he had a Paypal account or something well recognised over here where money could be donated in Sterling I think he'd get more from this side.
