A protest at the Royal event would be wrong. It won't happen.

I wrote that before I had seen the proposed concession rates & foolishly took his written word a nt face value.

If there’s a chance offered to engage it should be accepted. If it’s the usual one way engagement then those representative of supporters should exit, together, in solidarity.

The Trust Chairman got it about right on Humberside earlier.

Oh well **** this, I'm off. You take your 'chance offered' and enjoy.

Cheers all <ok>

This is amusing and very well written. Probably the most cynical pisstake I've ever read.

It has nothing to do with the stress ball demo, he is simply using it as a method of deflection.

This is all about appeasing the nuisance that is football's regulators and a persistent MP. These are empty words, they goad those who oppose him.

There has not been any concession given, he's moved the goalposts in full sight and is having another good laugh at everyone.

He's making a cynical play for the moral high ground, don't be foolish and attend these meetings and play his well thought through game.
Totally agree with his 'thought through' game. I don't believe for one minute he has any intention of meeting supporters groups, he's doesn't have the balls. I am quite looking forward to how he wriggles out of it.
I am guessing at the negative response to his offer of concessions.
Similar with calling out HCC, I suspect they ****ed up in setting up the agreement. He knows they wont want to go public.
I can see the next headline how he tried to build bridges but no one was interested.

This is a pure wind up - he's offered nothing - nobody (nobody at all) saves anything and some will pay more - I'd say it is ridiculous but actually it is very much in keeping with everything before. No change; nothing to report - as always.

Any invitation to engage should be accepted gracefully, if discussions fail don’t let it be because of supporters.

The proposal to reintroduce concessions is a massive compromise by them & should not be derided.

It’s a start.

I'm not reading any further but I doubt there'll be a better post than this.

So, prices are back to normal.

Concessions disappeared but our adult prices were really ****ing cheap.

Instead of AllamOut, why not chant EhabOut? Turn them on each other.

“They’re chanting mean things about me again, Papa.”
“Toughen up, boy. They love me.”
Did you notice the singular in his attempt at humour in his statement...
'especially considering the common ground that we share with these same fans – namely ALLAM OUT!'
Which one?
I agree, divide and rule has been their strategy Cortez

I have just looked and these matchday ticket prices are CHEAPER than our 15/16 prices last time we were in the championship before any bollocks about concessions.

So let's keep our credibility here.

Can you post the link?

You're missing the point Bob. I believe my 'pass' is well over £100 less than when we moved to the KC 15 years ago. Unfortunately the removal of concessions subsidise this. I would have had no problem paying the same to avoid seeing the heart and the future ripped out of my club.

I've just found the full pricing for 15/16.

The junior prices are dearer but the adult and concession price is cheaper. If you add one of each price band up (adult, concession, junior) from each season each stand and each category amounts to exactly the same.

I first found it on a media article comparing highest and lowest prices at clubs which had wrongly quoted £6 cheapest for a junior when in fact it was £3 in the south.

Here's the pricing

You can't really believe that; I would (and to some degree do) agree with the sentiment that any offer towards a concession should be embraced (welcomed & discussed as offered) but this is offset by the fact that no-one saves with this concession and some lose out. Strikes me that they are just taking the proverbial yet again. This is not a concession; they concede nothing in even one individual case and overall if the same people go; they gain. Utterly despicable. For the record I go with my 14 year old as season ticket (membership) holders so this won't affect us but if we paid match by match we'd be worse off with the new concessions and even if he were younger we would pay the same - so as almost the best possible group there is no concesssion whichever way you look at it.

Our membership pricing was based on earning the same revenue from ticket sales whilst evening it out across the board. So the adult price came down because the child price went up. So for the child price to go down the adult price goes back up. It's just a different method.
