I think you missed my point. Le Tissier HAD to choose elsewhere and England were the closest home nation, in geographical terms and historical links. Woodburn was born, raised and trained in England.
Good to know you think his maternal granddad represents his "family", while his other 3 grandparents don't?
He didn't "have" to choose elsewhere, the English FA decided he was eligible, isn't it down to Woodburn himself to decide which grandparent best represents his family?
John Barnes chose England over Jamaica, Costa chose Spain over Brazil and the list goes on, it's purely down to the individual given the choice.
