I think Astro is harmless, he doesn't tend to be rude or personal unlike some on other threads. I don't see the point if putting people on ignore, it's an anonymous forum and football is always going to divide opinions.

You are right, he isn't rude or personal, but I left school over 30 years ago and quite like adult company now ;)

It's purpose was to rattle you and several others (who came on here to wind us up) and it has done so mission accomplished.

^^^ Plays the [HASHTAG]#rattle[/HASHTAG] card <rofl>

BTW - It would take a lot more than that to rattle me <ok>

Today could be a good day.

Hungover to **** and actually kinda looking forward to sitting down in front of not606 at work <laugh>

I'm working too. Not hungover though as I was on-call last night!

Got a 10.5 hour shift today <grr>

So you're not working when Liverpool play next? Unusual <whistle>

I'm 2.30 - 10 which is a shocker. Might have to place some bets to pass the first couple of hours. Off to get my lad and then some grub.

I work 1 weekend a month (usually!). So obviously once a month I miss a game... you twat!!

I'm at home for next weekend <cheers>

This comment doesn't really make much sense. Worse teams than the Saints, with less income, don't lose players as frequently as you. Maybe as fans your not happy, but it appears it's part of your business model, irrespective of what comes out of the club.
Aside from a few years back when half our team relocated to Merseyside I'm not at all sure if this comment has any foundation. And in fact, even that season was only remarkable in terms of the destination of outgoing players rather than the actual number of players leaving. I don't think there's any doubt that we are seen as a shop window and often use this fact to swing a deal our way but I think you'll find that it's the quality of players that we have signed or nurtured that is the real talking point. Which other club has let a list like Lallana, Mané, Lovren, Clyne, Shaw, Lambert, Oxo, Schneiderlin and Wanyama go? None I'd wager. You could find plenty of teams that have let more players go though so like I said, I don't think your point holds water.

But the point is it happens so regularly at the end of each season, you need to look closer to home as to why.

Not we don't. We're Saints fans and we understand what we do. Clearly you don't, have only just realised, or else you'd realise you are posting the obvious. It's what we do and we do it well. This doesn't mean that we can't take a stand when we decide we want to, by telling Liverpool to **** off or pay over the odds.

Why do these fans from other clubs come here and lecture us when we are probably the best run club of our size in the country. I mean Charlton has been a basket case for the last few years FFS!...<doh>
