Except on the Newcastle forum, on dozens of occasions you were critical of Sunderland, anything to curry favour , and now that circumstances change you try to curry favour from the same ones you were critical of, you must be one of the weakest characters I have ever had the misfortune to come accross , if I were ever in that position ( I never will be ) I would have stuck by what I had said and given my reasons for saying so
You should have stayed in the army where you would have always been surrounded by a group of people that could have supported the weakness in your makeup

I would love you to give some thought to your attitude to this forum, a one about a home town and a football team, two things that make it stand out from other on line forums inasmuch as the amount of passion attached to peoples view of these two things would never apply anywhere else , I have no doubt there will be hundreds of people from all over the world logging on to take a look at there home team, only to be put off by some of the abusive and bad language that they see, we will never know of their interest as they will simply not return,
I would like you to some extent to just stop and think before commenting and maybe just moderate your language a little

There are others on here that have decided they do not like me and I accept that, the difference being for instance , Bri was the first one to declare his feelings but at least over time I came to respect his views, I could never say the same about you, I would also while I am at it like to thank SAFC for having the balls to swim against the tide of opinion and support me early on,
also if I may a couple from the Newcastle forum , Haslam for his common sense views and Jackarta Toon for his undying though unsuccesful attempts to make me change my ways, of course this is a double edged sword

I will be leaving tomorrow on an extended trip so would like to thank you all both friendly and otherwise for enriching the life of an old man in your own different ways

Auf Weidersein

If the words " I " and " me " weren't part of the English language you wouldn't have anything to talk about.
It's pathetic to claim that your life has been enriched on a football, yes " FOOTBALL " forum by people with differing opinions to your own inane, self promoting ramblings.

Born in Little Thorpe hospital in Easington Village and grew up in the Colliery before leaving and joining the Army.

Having visited last week, it's so sad to see the state of the place, it's a ****hole. However, it has loads of fond memories for me.

I'm 'lucky' in so much as the village I was born in was bulldozed when the pits were closed.

Those fond memories can never be erased.

I've never been past Roker Park since it closed either, in my mind it's still there and I can walk around every inch of it.

Born in Kirkcaldy but I left when I was 7 years old. Don't really have an affinity with the place anymore. Went back for the first time last year and it's a horrible little dump now which is a massive shame. From memory, it used to be a lovely place. Lived in Paris, Milton Keynes, York, Southampton and Oxford too.

I guess I class York as my "home" as I've lived there the longest. Honestly don't think much to the place. It's a bit boring and unless you're a tourist it's a bit samey. Always loved the north eas though. I seem to feel more at home up there than I do here.

I'm always quite jealous of people who were born and continue to live in the NE.

We were shunted down to the East Midlands when I was a kid and have never really felt 'at home' since.

Now, it would be impossible to move back and I love where I am.

Living abroad was wonderful but it does break a few links ...... we can only live one life though mate, all you can do is live it to the full.

Good on you. If you love where you live, live it!

As you know, I live in Peterlee. The area I live is beautiful, just on the edge of a dene. We spend a Saturday eating fish and chips fron Verrels on Hartlepool headland when I'm not at the match. Sunday is spent mainly in the local.

I'd love to spend a lot of my life abroad, like yourself, but my home will always be here.

I wish I'd had the balls to do it when I was younger. <ok>

I like where I am anarl. Nice town just inside the M25 so handy for transport links and London, but well away from the hurly-burly.

Me too mate.

I've no pension either mate.

My life is very complicated but I don't worry what's gonna happen in 8 years time.

I'm still the bank of dad that's gonna close very soon.

I'm always there for those I care about.

I'll worry about afterwards afterwards.

This echo's me perfectly and I couldn't have put it better :emoticon-0148-yes:

Your obsession with Fredor has been tiresome. You got what you wanted when he left the Newcastle forum. Why so many of you wanted to persistently pursue an old man like you have done, I'll never understand.

Nowt but a ****ing bully.

Nothing to thank me for, I've enjoyed your time on the board and I was brought up to respect my elders.

I really hope you do come back but I've got a horrible feeling that you won't be. It's been nice knowing you, take care mate.

The whole banning fredor thing than following him over here hasn't made sense at all, it absolutely pathetic behavior. All it's done is disrupt this board and like 83 says bully an old man. Shame our Mods have no bollocks/desire to sort this out as it should have been nipped in the bud straight away, when mods don't have pride in the place we know it's in trouble.

Don't like Fredor, don't care if he goes. That's based on his behavior with me over on their board. He came over, I let him/the board know where I stand and then left him be, but I have observed multipule mags come over having a pop at him then running back to their board to **** their mates tiny little cocks off.

It's school yard **** from the usual unwashed children on the other board, just another thing to drag this place down.

Totally agree with all of this..<ok>

I don't mind fredor, approaching 60 now but always open to the knowledge and life experience of someone older. Intelligent man I think and interesting when he rambles..

Don't get me wrong, our mods are good lads, just don't see the point of having mods if they don't do anything to retain harmony, god knows there enough disharmony among our own without the extra. It kills threads left right and Center. take Sammy disrupting the dad thread. What a ****ing dick. Only here because of Fredor and relegation. Over here being the thick **** and showing no respect for our board invading threads like that.

Don't like Fredor personally, I take as I find and he was dick with me for the off. I only asked why he didn't post over here. Wasn't being a dick, it was a genuine question.

..... and your country?

I can honestly say my birthplace is always in my heart and I love my country.

Perhaps I'm lucky but I would love to hear what other people think.
To me I live in Gods Country with many salt of the earth people but at 60+ have been I'm shackled to a life of too many football failures with rarely a dull moment:emoticon-0148-yes:
