I was born in North Shields (Preston Hospital I think it was, didn't grow up around there so didn't really know it) and was cheering South Shields too (over the internet). I assume there's not actually any proper rivalry? Admittedly, until i was about 8 I wrongly thought I was born in the town of Preston and have followed Preston NE results ever since.

 

Should I take that as a "maybe"?

Well i can honestly say that i don't think anyone on this board was born in the same place as me lol. Was born in Seville Spain. Can't say i'm particularly proud of that as i have zero connection with Spain. I'm actually half english and half American!
