The Achilles was severely affected by the fasciitis. It was mainly that that ended the long distances. I found that cycling and swimming helped, so I switched over to those activities.

Funnily enough, I've only just started to hit the road again. These days, though, I'm content to jog and take things easy. I am reminded just how hard it is!

You said it was your Hamstring that ended your running, now it's your Achilles.

Just pick a BS story and stick to it mate <laugh>

Roofie has you hooked and flip-flopping, and you don't even know it, Pix!

That's some masterful wummery, there.

Fair enough.

I'm not rattled, but I did get very serious about my training. If I told you what I used to do, I'd have all the usual suspects calling "bullshit" again, so I will save my breath. Let's just say that I did a LOT of sport and fitness activities.

The Moscow thing, by the way, isn't real. It was only banter. I think most people realised that.

I know the Moscow thing wasn't real, as did everyone else, as it's easy to tell when you are fibbing.

So did you keep the weight off or has it crept back ?

Really? You think the Welsh Canadian is on the wind-up, and not just, er...eccentric (a word used in my family to describe the various drunkards and lunatics perched in every branch of the old family tree)?

I'm carrying more fat than when I used to run, but I'm in good shape. I tend to be very active.
