You may recall that I told one of those weird Scottish posters that I was an illegal Arab immigrant trying to make an honest buck in the UK under a false name. That made me laugh.

By the way, what happened to those Scottish lads? They disappeared as suddenly as they appeared! Did the supermods build a virtual Hadrian's Wall to keep them out?

The GC can be funny but they also feel the need to post controversy for comfort so that they can continue to believe that what they post is in some way relevant and against the establishment and general political correctness. I find it dull, mainly. They also don't like it back and some called for me to be banned when I pointed out some faults.

They'll pop over the divide now and then say something controversial and see who gives them the reaction they crave.

I had the pleasure of being invited to the opening of his new resort in Spain a few years back, I thought he would pop in and say hello then bugger off, but he stayed with us all weekend. He was a lovely bloke, he even had a chat with Mrs luv on the phone. <laugh>

I have a great photo of him stood in the middle of an empty old dusty pitch in the Spanish countryside, a great shot of an old pro looking around and remembering.
