I had the pleasure of being invited to the opening of his new resort in Spain a few years back, I thought he would pop in and say hello then bugger off, but he stayed with us all weekend. He was a lovely bloke, he even had a chat with Mrs luv on the phone.
I have a great photo of him stood in the middle of an empty old dusty pitch in the Spanish countryside, a great shot of an old pro looking around and remembering.

My pay off is that I will be attending a same sex (blokes) wedding reception on Saturday so will miss both Wales and England's first game.
I must say the bonanza on Thursday more than makes up for it though.
Most men would not have got married when the footy was on for 2 of them to make that oversight is unforgivable.

One of the best No.10's to ever play the game. That's my old position, what I would have given for half his talent.
Also one of the best at league.
One of the few who immediately took to the northern version when he went.
