You don’t have a plan though.

Just saying ‘Falklands’ isn’t a plan, it’s total guesswork.
Employing experts to carry out a task that has been done by other people is a plan though
Just like saying I want an extension built on my house the same as others have had done, I could not build it myself so would employ experts

What really irks a lot of folk, not all racist or deform voters.
Is the inability to stop the boats. The illegal immigrants and the money spent on them.. hotels..benefits.. medical assistance... housing etc. People feel robbed and that they are being taken for a ride.
So what cpuld be termed 'real politic' labour will lose a lot of seats unless they can get a grip of this issue. Backbenchers standing on their dignity/principals, are 'turkeys voting for Christmas.

A similar point can be made about welfare benefits, cos if taxes are raised anymore, Labour is toast.
In reality only a tiny percentage of migrants come on boats and spend on them is a piss in the ocean. Facts not opinions. Its a matter for security of course. We need to protect people- the host community AND vulnerable travellers/children. Most spend is on the ill and elderly and i’m happy to pay to help humans personally, if others pay the same %.
The irony is that Reform represent the wealthy tax dodging class and wont care if working class people die as a result.
As the racist millionaire/ billionaire army drive up oil prices to avoid justice, the Reform rich boys suffer the least.

Yes that’s all fine.

So your entire plan, to stop the boats, is simply to ask some experts to arrange it all …

… you’d think all the previous administrations would’ve asked them by now.

So send them all to the Falklands to create the own camps and committees.
They as they have families, they will all be born as full British citizens and able to all move and live in England

Arrivals by small boat, 1 January 2026 to 9 March 2026

3,409 people

That’s roughly the entire population of the Falklands.

So sending them 8,000 miles would cost a fortune and involve the RAF. Materials would have to be flown in, roads laid, water, sewage and electricity plants built. An advance workforce would have to be sent out to build all of this infrastructure and another to build the camp.

Before any of that could happen it would need a workforce of around 1,000 people so their accommodation would have to be built before the work could start on the camps.

As we’re already short of workmen where would you find an extra thousand to build houses for them, the infrastructure and then the camp. How much would you have to pay someone to spend at least a year on a windswept island with virtually no facilities?

They’d all have to be single men with no families, need for entertainment or any kind of sexual needs. The islanders themselves would be asked to accept 1000 bored workmen plus 3/4000 caged migrants in a prison, I’m sure they’d be thrilled.

Security staff, cooks, doctors, nurses, etc would have to be recruited and provided with accommodation etc. Medicines, food and other provisions would have to be flown in but that presents another problem. The nearest habitation is Argentina who wouldn’t help in any way and, in any case, are at least 300 miles away.

So, apart from the Falkland Islanders protesting, the unavailability of a workforce and it being 8,000 miles away it’s a cracking idea and just like Australia.

And you don't have to be an "expert" to see all this. So actual "experts" in this kind of thing would just laugh in the face of anyone who was seriously suggesting anything similar.

None of these arguments bear scrutiny unfortunately, if it were that simple no European country would have a problem.

Using the Falklands is a complete non-starter as are the other ridiculous ideas …

… it simply couldn’t be done.

The ‘experts’ probably go along with Farage’s scheme to get the Royal Navy to escort migrants back to France or Belgium.

Well they are all doctor according to their supporters so non of them needed, does not need much to erect few huts and a few generators for power and water. Which experts have said a country could not build a camp in a remote area cos I've seen none.
If not Falklands then south Georgia, only penguins on there and we will have no complaints from the Greens as they don't seem to care about displacement of wildlife in UK.

Great argument, you should be put in charge.
